The beds were good and the staff was really nice.
Basic hotel Breakfast. hot items are nothing to write home about.
Good value
Reasonable priced with good access to airport.
Not fond of the breakfast, particularly the eggs, but there's plenty of things to eat including cereal, oatmeal and waffles.
GREAT location
Warranty expired on mattresses
The price and location were good
The room was clean but the mattresses need replacing. That is the most important thing to expect a good sleep and Hampton Inn fell short.
Very good location, but so much to see we walked almost 10 miles in one day.
Didn't have enough time to see everything we wanted. I guess that means another trip.
enjoyed our stay
Great breakfast! The coffee station that seemed to be available the entire time we were there was fantastic!
A little bit on the pricey side but great overall.
The location was great
I was given a smoking room and did not know until I got there. I was also charged MORE than the standard rate.
Loved it was there for a wedding and the location is so convent . We walked to king street for dinner and loved having the parking garage there
Location was excellent for city sites and dining.
Internet was a pain. Had to keep going through the Hampton steps to reconnect because it kicked us off when we tried to use our tablets.
Location, friendly and helpful staff, cleanliness.
Price.
The staff was amazing. They booked us in a room that someone was staying in. For the inconvenience they compted us two tickets to any of the following two places: horse drawn carriage ride at palmetto carriages, tickets to Fort Sumpter, or tickets to the aquarium. The continental breakfast was good, but possibly due to the extensive amount of food they offered it lacked greatly on taste.
I didn't like that they didn't have their own parking lot. We shared a parking deck with public parking and the cost was $16/day.
This inn is close to the visitor center as well as to the trolley. This made planning our day and transportation easy. The trolley was Free during my visit.
The breakfast was quite good; but the coffee was not.
Its location was perfect (within walking distance to all main attractions in the Charleston Historic District), the staff were excellent (friendly and helpful), and the continental breakfast was great.
Rooms were a little out dated.
I had booked a 5 nights stay but had 2 reservations, one for a 4 nights on a different website and then another for the 1 night separately via booking.com. When I checked in I wanted to make sure that they realised that I was not going to check out on the 4th day, as I was going to stay 5 days all together. Still the morning of the 4th day I received my check out bill and a feedback form in my room.
Free, DIY breakfast including waffle maker, free coffee 24 hrs a day and cookies in the afternoon.
Plastic cutlery and throwaway plates at breakfast caused a lot of waste.
stafff were very friendly & helpful.
breakfast was good in general, but cooked food was a disappointment - processed scrambled egg
Location was good. Hotel was clean and room good.
Breakfast juices seemed if they had bben watered down or were of a cheap quality.
The beds were comfortable, the bathroom luxurious and the breakfast was very nice.
The palmetto bug in the bathroom upon arrival!
