The staff was really friendly and they were happy for us to leave our luggages upon checkout to go around more for the day. The beds were comfortable except the split area where the double bed meet as it were two single bed joined together. The 24hour door access was brilliant.
Our first and second day the room had a strong smell of freshly painted walls. We had to open our windows during the night. The smell affected our sleep. Although it was an improvement perse to maintain the lodge it was a really a big let down during our stay.
it was clean
noisy thin walls. could not put tv on without someone banging wall.
Good location,friendly staff, comfortable bed.
Yes the croissants were delicious, I like the quaint windy staircase, nice and warm bedroom and a joy to walk in the Greyfriars gardens, also a Royal Mail letter box and Sainsbury’s only seconds away.
Nothing comes to mind.
Very old, wall papers coming off the walls. Mould in the bathroom. Toilet was shaking the room when flushed.
