Housekeeping was terrible. Was asked to leave for cleaning in 5 minutes, came back 1 hour later and nothing had been done. Left again and when we got back, they had only made the bed. No cleaning of bathroom and no towels.
Front desk closed, never got to use my resvation
When i arrived to check in on Oct10 @1:15pm, i was told my room wasn't ready, to come back later. I said I'd be back later, after a wedding I was attending. I arrive back at the Georgetown Inn around 12am to find the doors locked!! I look around and find a note on a window saying the front desk is only open 8am-10pm. No one had informed me when I was checking in, that the front desk closed at 10pm. This being the Thanksgiving holiday, there were no other hotels that had any rooms. I had to drive back to Edmonton. I just got off the phone with a Kayak rep. who has been trying to get a hold of the manager at the Georgetown Inn without any success, this is the second day they have tried to talk to the manager. The rep just informed me the the front desk said I looked at the room, but said I didn't like it!! I didn't even see the room because I was informed the room wasn't cleaned!! Now someone at the front desk is lying, very disappointing.
