Nothing at all
Great location. The lobby area is very cool. Great drinks, coffee and atmosphere in the lobby. Range of lollies to nibble on also. Apartment had all things you’d expect like kettle, microwave, oven etc. BUT no air con.
We had a 2 bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms. Apparently not all 2 bedrooms have 2 bathrooms..wierd. As trying to be ECO, No aircon, so reliant upon opening the doors and ceiling fans. Temp was only 15 degrees C at night but both bedrooms have no natural light and no windows. Had to use ceiling fans. So hot, woke up with headache both mornings. So stuffy. cannot imagine how it would be in the full summer. No bedside table next to me so had to put things on the floor. Sofa in lounge room so uncomfortable. Bathroom big and had everything in it needed. WIFI was shocking. Had to use hotspot on my phone except if I stood next to the modem near the front door. Reception lady came up and checked everything working but still poor reception. Basically, everything looked good, but functionality was poor.
It’s a good location with pleasant views. The cinema downstairs was a bonus. Two bedrooms with two bathrooms was good to have.
The 2 bedroom unit was poorly equipped for those who wish to self cater and cook, with minimal number and basic provisions only of crockery, glassware, utensils, cookware etc. The parking at $35 per night is an expensive extra. The very low sofa chairs are not practical for all users.
We now stay here when ever we pass through Canberra, from Sydney, its a great area, central to get to, and a funky vibe, great ambience and style, we opted for a larger room and it was worth it, on arrival we were early so the very nice guy was able to get us in a room without waiting which was great, a must stay place if your into the retro look.
only thing was the couch in our room was to say the least had it, no support I slid to the floor as the support has gone room 1212, and the electric jug kept boiling as the switch doesn't turn off, but everything else was great.
