The rooms are modern and comfortable. The light in the rooms is excellent. Air conditiong works well and smoothly. Internet was fast and connects immediately. The personal is very, very friendly. The only problem is the location. The hotel is centrally located within the historical part of Campeche. This implies, however, that it is very loud. In particular those rooms which go out onto 59th street during the night have a constant level of noise. 59th street is a pedestrian zone, and bars and restaurant cater their clients on the street directly below the windows of your room. The noise stops at one in the morning. In the morning you might get woken up by the noise of the people setting up the breakfast.
It is a very short, 4-minute walk from the ADO bus station. A very doable walk to the main plaza.
The beds were a bit hard, and the pillows a bit thin. Comfortable enough, but not great. The neighborhood is sort of grubby, but safe.
Very modern, pleasant room.
The staff on reception could have been a bit more friendly. Except for one staff member they seemed very unhappy and not enjoying working at the hotel. Totally understand if you have a stream of demanding tourists asking you questions all day it isn’t easy but if you are friendly you get back a lot, smiles, tips, nice comments..so all worth it I would think.
Loved the look of the courtyard The location is great We love the shampoo :)
No windows / expect dark rooms You can hang out in front of the room, at the courtyard/hallway, but the room is a bit gloomy. We shared a double room, for two persons thats fine. But you cant share it with three or four, the beds are ok, but it a very tiny room Internet doesnt work well inside the room.
Perfect location, few minutes to main square and next to the street with few good restaurants. Since we were traveling with a car, the hotel provided the parking spot, they take your car into garage and bring it back when you’re leaving. Very comfortable and stylish place with friendly stuff.
The only drawback is that stuff was speaking mostly Spanish.
