Cons (-) Dinner at Rimrcok end up poor. Food was great but service extremely poor near end of meal. Server disappeared for 20 minutes. When I did see him & tried to get his attention, no response.

Pros (+) The hotel was very quaint and kept much of it's rustic charm. It was clean and quiet. The staff were kind and courteous.
Cons (-) I was disappointed that the only rooms that had WiFi access were on the gold floors. I was offered to upgrade to the gold floor for an additional $100. The receptionist failed to mention the price was per night. A nice little sticker shock. Also I find it odd that a hotel the caliber of the Palliser would not offer WiFi

Pros (+) This building has a beautiful old world feel atmosphere. Downtown Calgary feels like it has really died off with the current recession but you'd never notice once inside the hotel. Lots of happy and polite people everywhere. We will definatly return.
Cons (-) We requested a newspaper in the morning but it didn't arrive for our two day stay.
