Great location. Strong WiFi connection
No lift. The door makes noice when open and close. A little poor sound-proof.
This is an ambient place to stay with an excellent restaurant (make sure you book in advance) and superb location. It was just a few minutes walk from the main square and Christmas markets, and only 10-15 minutes' walk from the train station. There are shopping streets with cafes either side of it. The food in the restaurant, like the rest of Bruges, was of high quality - you can really enjoy an evening out here,
The shower facilities are not very good. I took my 66 year old Mum to this place thinking it would be the same standard as other hostels I've stayed in, but in the shower there is nowhere to hang your towel or clothes and no blinds/curtains on the giant window, so you end up stepping straight out of the shower into a very open, exposed space. The showers are unisex, which I don't mind but think should be made clear when booking - for me it's fine, but for the guest I had brought with me it's not suitable. If I'd known in advance, I'd have known to book a private bathroom.
The location and the property were great it is an old building and quaint but so popular and you couldn’t have asked for a better location. Staff were brilliant in a very busy period
No kettle or drinks facilities in the room
Room is nice. Nice restaurant on ground floor.
Very low quantity of facilities. Heating system is off during the nighttime.
The reception does not exist basically. The bathroom is not cleaned and only one toilet on the floor for all rooms?!
