breakfast in my room was not complete - had to send down twice to reception for cutlery and some of the things I had ordered
Location was excellent and hotel comfortable good standard
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and on hand to help with any query. The location is excellent and although we didnt use it, the bar looked lovely.
Unfortunately the lifts were not working, however we were offered an accessible room on the first floor instead. While this was a lovely gesture, neither myself or my partner needed this and thought that the room, although comfortable and larger than what we booked, needed a bit more of a deep clean throughout, especially the bathroom.
The location was excellent as were the staff. The room was a little tired and the lift wasn't working which, of course, can't be helped. The view out of the bedroom window was abysmal. Not much you can do about that either but you should probably warn people who see images of the front of the building.
The view. The fact that we couldn't get anything to eat at 10:30pm. Not even room service.
Our upgrade on the room was amazing, thank you. It made our anniversary perfect! The river view was lovely and much appreciated. The staff went above and beyond for us and we can't fault them.
The lifts weren't working so that wasn't the best when carrying luggage up multiple flights of stairs.
