loved the homely vibe and the quirky aesthetic of the room and the rest of the building. The mix of contemporary art and style without covering up the rustic feel was a nice touch.
Minor power cut in the morning was unexpected but not a major issue to our morning. Too many stairs
I was very impressed by the friendly staff and the amazingly comfy and well equipped room. I had a look around at other rooms , and now know my favourites for when I return .
The 3 pm check in is quite late and then 11 am check out ; that’s not even a 24 hour stay .
Room design was very unique.
Very noisy as right next to the kitchen and issues with the plumbing as shower and sinks were not draining.
Very friendly helpful staff Cool quirky room great bar & restaurant Excellent location
I love this place! I have been taking my teenage daughter there for the last couple of years as our little escape break. The location is brilliant and we totally love the quirkiness and homely feel of the place. this morning we had the most amazing breakfast EVER, so huge compliments to the chef! This time we stayed in the very quirky bunk room in the basement, which was fab, tho very dark and a little noisy as you have the laundry room near by and restaurant etc above. But, we would still choose to stay here over anywhere else in Brighton, just brilliant! x
The price of the rooms could be a bit more reasonable especially mid week. I do think the bunk room was just a bit too dark, despite the ambience etc.
