Cons: The shower ran hot and cold constantly. I booked a large double bed, but bed was two mattresses put together, which was ok but not the same when sleeping together. Odd choice to have a Nespresso machine (which is good) and then not have cream/milk to go with coffee (having a sachet of powdered creamer doesn’t cut it with high quality coffee and also Comes across as penny pinching).

Pros: The design of the hotel, broad corridors, big halls, luxurious feel. A post war hotel with charm in a park very close to my supplier. The room was rather small but it had a balcony. The bathroom was good but it didn't match the rest of the hotel's design, chromed faucets and black marble vs the post war modern restoration design. The breakfast was perfect, a lot of choice between different cold cuts, fish, fruit, buns, ... Perfect.

Cons: Well they can't help it really; the place is being renovated, but it did not spoil my stay. The phones didn't work, late arrivals can't get late night room service, rather guest unfriendly if you ask yourself, but maybe it is low season and the hotel has to compete with others. Low staffed? Staff was friendly. Wake up calls only by knocking on the door.

Cons: The heating of my room had a very small noise/low-resonance problem, which went on/off every 10-20 min. This didn't help me get good rest the first night, so I had to buy earplugs to sleep well (I notified the problem during the first night).

Cons: Sadly, I was a bit disappointed with the whole experience. Firstly, when I requested an early check in, I was told that it was €49 which I thought was a excessive (especially since I already paid €128 rate per night) On arrival, I found out that in order to access the gym facilites, there was an additional cost of £7 which may be listed on the hotel website but unfortunately, I didn’t see it when I booked it. And whilst I did consider paying for it, the facilities only open from 7am which is a bit too late if you have an early work schedule. The room itself resembled more to a B&B rather than a 4 stars listed hotel; small, furniture a bit too old, strong smell of tobacco, bathroom with no ventilation whatsoever so the place felt humid at all times. The staff were lovely, good variety of breakfast (although no dairy free options) and whilst I absolutely loved Bremen, I would definitely not stay at the same hotel again.

Cons: Just about everything. I was in Bremen for work. The hotel was austere and cold. My room was very, very cold so I had to sleep with all my clothes on. There was no internet connection. I called reception to report this and was told that this was because the hotel was very busy. I, therefore, set my alarm for 4 am, assuming that most of the guests would not be online at this time. I still could not establish a connection that lasted more than approx. 2 minutes. I left as soon as I possibly could following a very ordinary breakfast in a canteen-like atmosphere. Never again!!!

Cons: It was confusing at first that there are TWO Best Western hotels very near the train station. I went to the wrong one first, which was a very natural mistake. But it took them a long time to tell me that there are TWO and both have Hauptbahnhof in the name. They are not far from one another, but I found it annoying to have the folks at the desk look at me like I was from outer space because they did not have a reservation in my name. The reason they did not have a reservation in my name was simply because I was at the wrong Best Western. The staff at the desk at the other Best Western were fine.

Pros: We were there during the weekend, the street was nice and quiet. We were in a room with three beds which was spacious enough. The mattress were comfortable and the place was nice and clean. I liked the picture on the wall and the lightproof curtains. It is very easy to get to from the station and the historic centre is easy to get to even walking if you like walking.

Cons: Fully satisfied, but we would have liked somewhere safe to park our bicycles instead of on the street.

Pros: We were there during the weekend, the street was nice and quiet. We were in a room with three beds which was spacious enough. The mattress were comfortable and the place was nice and clean. I liked the picture on the wall and the lightproof curtains. It is very easy to get to from the station and the historic centre is easy to get to even walking if you like walking.
Cons: Obviously the room we stayed in used to be a shop. The former entrance door still remains in the corner. They put a shelf in front of it which doesn't cover it completely. Very strange and not very cosy. I am sure there would be way to cover the door properly. The mattresses are narrow and there is no room to leave the toilet bag in the tiny bathroom. Again, I am sure there is a way of installing a small shelf. There was a kettle and a Tchibo coffee maker but no tea bags nor coffee capsules. The check in is in a another hostel close by. The staff there wasn't very friendly.

Cons: First, it would be nice to inform beforehand that check in place is not in the same building as guesthouse. Room was in a basement level. Bed sheets had a very strong smell of washing liquid also found some small hair in bed. Not soundproof rooms, heard other people and water flushing down the pipes. Beds were not comfortable. In general not corresponding quality and the price.

Cons: we especially took the bigger room with '1 double bed' and 1 single bed, to be able to have a double bed. it's not though, you have to push 2 beds together. So that's misleading information.

Cons: Bathroom was several doors away from the room. (this may be normal for hostels as never been in hostels before). reception: 2 streets away from the rooms. This is not pleasant as in case which I were, when raining you get wet before check in.

Moreover, the hotel is very conveniently located in relation to the Bremen airport, so the next morning I just had a really relaxing 30 min walk and took my flight. At the same time, it was easy to get to the hotel by tram both from the university and from the city centre.

Pros: From thr outside this hotel looks a bit poor. Also the street on which the hotel is situated isnt the nicest in Bremen. But the rooms are clean with good madrass and bathroom. If you get a room towards the garden you even have a nice view and relatively quietness.

Cons: They didn't clean and empty the trash in any of the 3 days that we were there. Also the majority of the hotel can keep your luggages after checkout until the time that you leave the city however in this hotel apartment no at all.

Cons: There was no heat and after a long venture, it's a rather important feat that you can sit in a warm comfy room. The advertising implied that this was a mini apartment with basic amenities. There was some basic items missing like forks, dish brush, tea towel and a small pot or sauce pan (there was a pot for 3 liters). The chairs wasn't comfortable and the table arrangement was somewhat a little hopeless with a wall closet you can't reach on top of it. (It doesn't make sense but look at the picture (sorry for the mess)). Parking was a nightmare.

Cons: These are not really major issues, but just to take into account: - the windows of small single rooms face the street, which has a tram. At night, I didn't hear anything, but during the day this could be an issue because the windows are not 100% soundproof; - my room was on the third floor, and there was no elevator, so I had to climb rather steep stairs - it might be not great for someone with massive luggage; - check-out could have been explained better when I was checking in; when I wanted to hand in my key in the morning, I just found an empty reception and had to actually call to ask what to do with the key; it turned out I was supposed to just drop it into a postbox at the entrance.

Cons: I would expect a few little things: 1) a step chair in the bathroom for kids 2) hygienic stuff, like ear cleaning sticks or cotton pads Not really suitable for family with little kids, as there are no additional beds or the ones are in the room are only single, so you may not put the kid in the middle. But we solved it by putting blanket :)

Cons: The hotel appears old and worn out. My room was dark and the furniture, lights, bathroom, carpet, sofa, etc. appeared just old and used up. I had a room facing the main road thus very noisy due to heavy traffic. I picked the hotel due to its position but it is not worth the money for the poor experience you'll have. Also add 8€ parking fee if you arrive by car.

Cons: In the bath room thee glazed tiles were broken, there were rests of the mould it the shower. The window's surface outside was not clean. And while check out the hotel asked me to pay additional 5,40 euros, as the city tax, although was already in the bill.
