Pros: This was one of the nicest hotels, if not the nicest, I've ever stayed in. I recommend the Comfort Double room. The hotel was beautifully decorated and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was lovely, and we also had dinner and drinks a couple of evenings. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

Pros: Great hotel, ideally located right in the city centre, just a few minutes walking distance to all main sights within the city, yet on a very calm and quiet, silent street. Hotel itself is pretty new, has an elegant flair, and shows a nice mixture of modern & old architecture. The room was huge, very spacious, clean and comfortable. Super bed: comfy mattress and pillows. Breakfast was really nice too, overall a good variety of food and drinks, both hot and cold, a proper selection for every taste, and coffee was great as well! Last but not least, very kind and helpful staff at both reception (early check-in, could leave our luggage after check-out, free city map, coupons with discounts) and breakfast (always cleaned up our table).

Pros: Upon entering the Arcardia we were thrilled with the property, the sheer ambience of hotel left us lost for words. We were met my Joseph the concierge, who could not do enough for us during our entire stay. A friendly receptionist welcomed us and we were informed a complimentary welcome drink would a waiting for us in the bar. Our room was spacious and clean, the bathroom warm, clean and equally spacious, clean towels every day. Breakfast was served in a well laid out dinning room and there was plenty of choice, my only problem was no decaffeinated coffee, I have a caffeine intolerance, although there was decaff available in the room! Location wise the hotel is perfectly situated, just off the main square within Bratislava, surrounded by lovely bars and restaurants. Would we stay again, absolutely yes! Thank you to all staff for making our stay in Slovakia a perfect one.

Cons: The lobby and the casino downstairs do not fit to the luxurious looking hotel concept. Casino might be a good idea but as a normal person you don’t like to go there. It looks like the shady casinos in red-light districts.

Pros: This hotel is a little more expensive than some in the area, however it’s location has a lot of benefits, direct access to the Central shopping centre and it is right next to a public transport interchange, so getting anywhere in the city is easy and quick, only a 20 minute bus ride from the airport, so under a euro each way !! Our room was clean and comfortable, staff spoke various languages.

Pros: The hotel is located next to one of the better shopping centres in Bratislava and a 100m walk to a covered tram station allowing quick and easy access to different parts of the city including the old town (70 cents a 15min tram ride). The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly and professional. The breakfast is good but a bit pricey and there are plenty of cafe/ restaurants in the adjacent shopping centre for those that like to explore. The hotel has its own secure parking area in the shopping centre underground carpark with direct lift access to the hotel reception and room floors. Oh, yes! The beds are firm but comfortable and the bed sheets crisp and silky.

Pros: This hotel is a little more expensive than some in the area, however it’s location has a lot of benefits, direct access to the Central shopping centre and it is right next to a public transport interchange, so getting anywhere in the city is easy and quick, only a 20 minute bus ride from the airport, so under a euro each way !! Our room was clean and comfortable, staff spoke various languages.

Pros: The hotel is located next to one of the better shopping centres in Bratislava and a 100m walk to a covered tram station allowing quick and easy access to different parts of the city including the old town (70 cents a 15min tram ride). The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly and professional. The breakfast is good but a bit pricey and there are plenty of cafe/ restaurants in the adjacent shopping centre for those that like to explore. The hotel has its own secure parking area in the shopping centre underground carpark with direct lift access to the hotel reception and room floors. Oh, yes! The beds are firm but comfortable and the bed sheets crisp and silky.

Pros: Very elegant hotel with polite and friendly staff and excellent services. We used the room service and they were great, food was very tasty and the presentation was magnificent. The breakfast was also excellent with great variety (especially on our second morning there). There's also a spa facility which guests can use free of charge. It was rather busy when we visited but still a great offer and the hotel supplied us with the necessary. The staff are very accommodating and efficient, they made our stay very comfortable. In all, a wonderful experience and would definitely stay there again. Location is also very convenient and we got to see the Castle from our room.

Cons: Older Hotel, really expensive in comparison to other cities/hotels with same standard. They were out of bathrobes in the spa area, the floor in front of the Sauna was slippery, the quiet zone was full, we had no chair to sit in in the beginning. The gym consisted of a couple of machines that stood close to the pool and in front of the Sauna. You could hear everything on the floor, very noisy (from street and hotel floor) people got up early and woke us up. Expensive parking, no other parking possibilities in the closer area.

Pros: The hotel is located inside the pedestrianized part of the old town. The famous historic gate is only a few steps away and there are dozens of places to eat on the same street as the property. The "room" was a huge apartment -- with a fireplace! The bed was comfortable with a nice mattress and thick duvet. The breakfast was fabulous -- I think this is the first time I've had a hotel breakfast where the scrambled eggs were not cold chunks of rubber. I truly can't say enough about this lovely, spotless property and its staff.

We had enough space to unpack and even look after our friends kids while the parents were checking out. Cons: The smell when you enter the lobby. They tried to keep it smelling nice with some kind of parfume or air freshners but they obviously had way too much of it and it was more annoying than nice. Also don’t think their employees should be working in such environment as the smell is surely full of chemicals which they breethe in all day long.

Cons: The girl in charge of cleaning woke us at 8.40 with a crazy knock on the door. She pounded persistently, loudly, demandingly and for a long time. We jumped up, thinking the hotel had a fire or the police arrived with a special forces group! I started screaming what happened ?! I ran to the door, not having time to get dressed. And what did the cleaning lady answer? Oops, sorry. As if she were even surprised that I jumped out like that. I never thought that this could happen in such a fashionable hotel. I'm just shocked.

Also there is insects and mosquito and bed bug for sure cuase i had allergic to it and had red spot and scratch on my body!! Not acceptable The wifi is always interpeting.

Pros: Very nice and helpful staff. Hotel is also centrally located and Train Station and Bratislava Castle are very near. Our check-in time was 14:00 but we reached hotel at 12:00 and got the room. Breakfast was great too. We got a baby cot immediately upon request and also we got hot milk for baby in 5 minutes. Overall all a great experience and I would recommend this hotel to all for a comfortable stay.

Cons: The only thing we didn't like is that the soap dispenser in the shower cabin was empty and wasn't checked nor filled up during our 3-nights stay. I would recommend the check/refill to be part of the daily cleaning procedure.

Cons: What I didn’t like about the property was that with ONE towel they expect you to wash yourself for 3 days. In the 8 days we were there they never cleaned our room, and when they supposedly come in the room to clean they ate our snacks and the room was the same as we have left it. Also when we ask for towels they tell you that i have already given you the day before. We are from Malta and every time we shower we always use a clean towel not a dirty towel from the night before. I am very sorry but i was not pleased we the dirt inside the room and did not expect this from a hotel. For me it was a big disappointment as I am not used to living in dirt. Sorry but this is my honest opinion.

Staff is very helpful and they even let us check out two hours later than is the official time. The room was nice, clean just the bed was a bit uncomfy, cause the mattrasses were slipping a bit - not the best thing if you want to cuddle your partner :D

Cons: The cleanliness could be improved. Especially in the bathroom where it is most important I would say. There were some dust or sand-like leftovers on the shower floor. The toilet wasn’t really clean also. One evening we also hadn’t hot water in the shower.
