Pros: The room was amazing and exactly like the pictures. The refilled mini-fridge was filled everyday which was perfect. The staff was extremely friendly especially when it came to highlighting the places that a tourist should visit in Bratislava. Last but definitely not least the food is PERFECT, highly recommended to try for anyone that stays at the hotel or that is not and just wants to enjoy an amazing burger.

Its located a couple of minutes walk from the city centre so ideal for all types of guests. I must admit, I loved the free mini bar in the room - it was a lovely touch!
Cons: Even though we had a lovely dinner in the restaurant during the evening, we thought the breakfast was a bit under par and could be improved. It had a wide range of choice; however, the pastries just didn't taste fresh and the hot food wasn't kept warm. Roset Boutique Hotel had a better breakfast, we found.

Cons: The only problem is the sound isolation. When you want to sleep the only window goes to the hall of the hotel and even it is closed, locked you can hear people coming, talking, cleaning corridors in the early morning. I do not know if it may be solved, but the better sound isolation in the room would definitely improve the quality of the stay.

Cons: Unfortunately during our stay, the lift didn’t work (we were on the top floor), they were carrying out major maintenance work in the day, our aircon was leaking and halfway through our stay, the spa had issues so we couldn’t use it when we wanted. I know most of it could not be helped but it did spoil our experience.

Cons: Lift out of order for two days, all spa and All wellbeing facilities unavailable throughout our stay, major redecorations and refurbishment taking place throughout our stay. Lovely place but shabby absence of promised amenities. And no warning that much of the hotel would be a mess. Shouldn’t they close for a few days instead of selling customers short this way??

Cons: Pillowcases, even though for sure fresh, din not smell great - I believe it was the pillows themselves- perhaps old, as smelled dusty and quite unpleasant. I think the hotel knows about this as they are providing bedding perfumes next to the bed.

Cons: Biggest problem was the bar which was a smoking area and so was unpleasant. Coming from UK where smoking in indoor public spaces is banned, that fact there was no non-smoking area in which to relax and enjoy a drink was a real downside. One member of bar staff was also particularly unhelpful (the others were great)

Bus then tram from Bratislava airport with good connections, very reasonable price and then only 3 minute walk from the tramstop. Cons: The towels are not large or soft and there is no robe. The lift is a tight fit with baggage and seating in the breakfast room is tight. It would be nice to have more labels on food items in the breakfast selection.

Cons: People were allowed to smoke cigarettes right in front of the door to the hotel, and in fact there was an ashtray immediately next to the entrance to the hotel. Therefore, every day when we left the hotel or returned, we had to walk through a cloud of cigarette smoke. Additionally, each morning as we were inside the lounge area putting on our coats and scarves, the cigarette smoke would waft into the hotel reception area. We would not book in this hotel again specifically for this reason. Our room supposedly had a courtyard and garden view, however our window faced directly into a concrete wall. Perhaps if we stood right up against the window and looked directly down the side of the building, we may have seen a courtyard or a garden. For the purposes of relaxation, this 'room with a courtyard/garden view' does not have a view at all.

Pros: Customer service was offered in abundance. The staff at the desk and bar need to be commended. They were helpful, kind and patient. The registration desk staff readily offered directions while the bar staff offered dinner and wine suggestions. I do a lot of travelling and I can say that kindness and thoughtfulness is not most evident in people in service oriented jobs at this time. The attitudes of the Crown Plaza staff was exemplary. I have already booked rooms at the hotel for next month when I will be in Bratislava.

Cons: A four star hotel where they didn't change my underwear for 5 nights or change my towels, though I left them several times on the floor. They were just raised and curled without being replaced. The worst part is that you are restricted everywhere and can only walk using your card. Just up to your floor with an elevator, you can't go upstairs, except to exit, not to come back. It was very difficult to go to my friends who were on the 4th floor and I was on the 5th. If a fire or other disaster strikes, people will not be all saved, as they could not know for all these cretinous restrictions.

Pros: This is the best hostel I’ve stayed at in a long time! Staff were super nice. They hand you sheets when you check in and they’re super clean. Rooms and bathrooms are clean and odorless. They had a nice updated kitchen. A laundry room with places to air dry clothes. Lockers in the room, enough for everyone. They had a bar and a patio.

Cons: Not enough bathrooms. 1 bathroom for all the dorm rooms on the floor. Also, it's a toilet and a shower together in one room so when someone is having a 20-minute shower there is a line of people waiting just to go to the toilet.

Pros: Easy check in and out. Very nice staff, also the reception had a bar with possibility of buying food and drinks (seemed to be open all night). The room was comfortable and I liked the signage for skipping the cleaning instead of the "do not disturb". I would definitely recommend staying here! Location is just perfect!

Pros: The location is excellent. The beds are extremely comfortable and the room was very clean.
Cons: the hairdryers are just attached to the wall and are pretty useless as hairdryers!! they wouldn't dry a flea! Also the bar did not serve alcohol past 11pm on a sunday and the description says 24 hour bar. Also it said breakfast is served till midday and it was only served until 11am.
