Not the worst stay, but had room for improvement
it was under 10 min from the airport by taxi. Hotel also has an airport shuttle that comes every 20 min. They also quickly reassigned my room and upgraded me after it happened.
They assigned me a room that was either already in use or wasn't cleaned, so they upgraded me to a room with a hot tub. At first I understood mistakes happen and wasn't upset. When I went to use the hot tub in the second room and turn it on, the water turned a brownish green from the pressure system. I tried refilling the tub several times to the same effect. Rest of the room looked clean, but after seeing both rooms and both of them being questionable, it was uncomforting. Overall the stay gave me a place to sleep before my flight, but I could help but thinking the cleanliness was only surface deep.
Close to airport so midnight arrival meant less driving. Close to freeway. Loved the indoor heated pool. Very pleasant and helpful staff.
Water-saving toilet wouldn't flush properly and required two visits from maintenance guy to get it working, sort of. Mattress was not very comfortable, but ok.
Pee stained sheets
I don't feel like I should have even paid for my room for what happened. First thing: our room was falling apart. One of the lights were completely hanging out of its hole. I'm sure that's couldn't have been safe. But I let the light issue slide because of how tired I was. Then second: after a very long day of traveling all I wanted to do was go to sleep. But when I pulled the sheets down on my bed... There was a GIANT Yellow stain in the middle and side of the white blanket. And I shouldn't even say "stain" a stain is when a spot won't come out AFTER washing it. This blanket was never washed. And the spot smelled horrible. I called to the front desk just to be told that he wasn't sure if he had any extra bedding and would have to let me know. (Still just wanting to sleep) 10 minutes later I get a call back saying he found me blanket. When I opened my door he was holding another nasty old wool looking blanket. I told him that it was the white down comforter that was stained and proceeded to tell me that the hotel did not have any extra blankets because they don't wash this comforters everytime!!! GROSS!!!! Even if that is the case... Why would they still make the bed with a yellow stain that smelled horrible and leave it for the next guest?!?! I asked to talk to the manager just to be told he was the only one there and if I still wanted the wool blanket? Again in the morning I asked to talk to the manger just to be told she had the day off. So moral of the story... If I wanted to have to remake a bed at midnight I would have just stayed home for free!!!!
Good sized room, very clean. Great price
Stay at Comfort Suites
Cleanliness, facilities, ease of location
Didn't offer extended checkout
The place is at a great location: just off the highway but at a distance that it was totally quiet at night. The facilities were nice and breakfast was ok. I would stay here again when passing through Boise.
nice clean comfy
Our room was very clean and comfortable. We had plenty of room. The staff was friendly.
The pool and hot tub were cloudy, and a large group came in with beer. We left the pool area immediately. The hot breakfast items ran or over an hour early.
