Great stay. Hotel was very good. Service was excellent + staff friendly and helpful. The car park is next door in the Q-Park but really no problems as it is literally next door. Good value for money. Location is really good as well.
The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the location was excellent with good car park just two minutes away
No biscuits with the tea/coffee and no fridge in the room
Room was comfortable with a good size flat screen telly. Bed was comfortable as well. Hotel bar was very nice & with a relaxing ambience also.
Very minor points: The room could have been a touch cleaner, along with the bed having not been made properly. Bathroom more compact than I had envisaged. Bar staff not giving the full 30% discount when they should have been.
I had to wait in a long queue for check in. There were four reception stations available, but only two receptionists working at the desk. A very rude customer stood in front of me and was served before me. When I challenged the customer, they were very disrespectful towards me and told the receptionist they should have security here because I challenged them. Turns out they had already checked in and needed assistance with a key. As you can imagine, this was not a pleasant experience at the start of my stay at all. I didn't find the receptionist to be empathetic towards when serving me after the incident either. I would suggest a 'Self Check-in' station with another desk for general enquires to save waiting times, executive queues; and to prevent further incidents like this happening in the future.
