Was given a room that was very dirty and smelled terrible. With a 7.8 rating I was shocked at the condition of the room. Complained to the you man that assigned us the room. Mom
Newly updated and great location!
Our room smelled like fresh paint which was a little overwhelming haha and the staff was not exactly top notch
Chainsaw at 615am weds morning was completely unacceptable. Trash was piled up in the trash bin by the stairs, I couldn't even fit a cup it in. Then the wooden plant holder was full of trash by the stairs, and there was a random bag of trash under the stairs Thursday morning. C'mon have a little more pride in property upkeep. I will probably be staying here again because it's good price and new carpets but the early construction times are illegal!
They were in the process of renovating. The place was really nice but several small details had been overlooked like the poor lighting (e.g. harsh fluorescent over vanity, old-school high-watt incandescent in shower, too-bright Edison bulbs bedside, and a glowing white light from the TV that couldn’t be tuned off) and dirty, yellowed light switches and covers (one outlet cover was missing, hopefully they’ll replace them all eventually). The other issue was that the Roku TV wouldn’t work without an account. I wanted to chill out in front of the TV without having to go online and mess around with giving out my personal information but that wasn’t an option, I found that to be super lame. When I called them regarding this both in the evening and the morning, they didn’t answer my call. It was clear to me that they were doing their best but unfortunately, the old plastic shower and tub from the 70s and small details didn’t match the highly stylized aesthetic they’re going for and the lack of working television was a bit less than perfect.
Location was good for getting downtown. About a 10 or 15 minute walk.
There are two parts of the hotel. One is nicer and feels legit and the other is a lot less nice and has longer term residents staying there it felt like. Unfortunately, for me, I was in the less nice side. Wish I’d gotten on the nice side. The not nice side is just that...not that nice.
