The room cleaning wasn't great. We had a couple of days where coffee cups sat out for multiple days without a replacement.
Bed was very comfortable. View from balcony was incredible (Rocky Mountains). Good amenities in room( good grade coffee especially was appreciated).
Although it was nice being outside Banff proper, that there was parking at all, the parking was not convenient to the rooms. Young man at check-in, once he showed up, was not very helpful or friendly.
We loved this hotel, just outside of Banff – we arrived after a long but awesome but somewhat exhausting trip from Jasper along the jaw-dropping Icefield Parkway with several stops and walks. I was extremely happy to have reserved a table at the hotel restaurant instead of running around in Banff center. We started with an excellent cocktail at the bar with lovely fireplace and a cozy atmosphere. At the adjacent restaurant we had great food together with a good selection of Canadian wines. Both bar and restaurant offered gorgeous mountain and lake views which we could also see right from our room. The room was fairly spacious with good beds.
Amazing food, views, and amenities for a great price!
No complaints whatsoever!
They charged me for 2 nights when I only stayed for one, Due to an error in the online booking dates. They would not refund me because they said it was not within their policy. The Deluxe room was tiny and definitely not worth the money.
Visiting the city of Banff means enjoying the great outdoors. The Juniper Hotel is a hotel that caters to guests who enjoy all the fun of the great outdoors and wish to have a relaxing time when they come back from their outdoor excursions. This is why the hotel takes care of the simple things – like parking. Free parking is ideal, especially because Banff is a small town and parking is at a premium. Relaxing after a hike or skiing also means enjoying a soak in the hot tub. The bottom line, if you are an active person, this is a hotel that is ideal for you because it takes care of you.
The Juniper Hotel keeps service personal, as this hotel only has 52 rooms, the staff will get to know you quickly. There are two types of rooms, the “Woodland” and the “Valley.” The Valley is the deluxe room and features a larger space, premium bedding and a deck for you to step outside and see a magnificent view of the Rocky Mountains. The Woodland style only features a window to look out, but otherwise, the rooms are very similar. They offer coffeemakers, room service, and you have the added convenience of satellite television along with free Wi-Fi. Natural wood finishes permeate the room, reminding you that you are indeed surrounded by natural beauty.
The Juniper Hotel has everything that travelers to Banff could want. Between nature and amenities, it doesn’t get any better than spending some time in this great city and staying at this hotel.
