Cons: the room did not have air conditioning....... room was incredibly hot.... complained to reception and they said "AC is off as winter mode is now set so heat is coming from AC unit" Reception provided a stand-alone fan which did not provide sufficient room cooling room was very noisy due to location of service lift adjacent to room. In general hotel was very noisy at night due to inconsiderate guests

Special thanks to room service: we ordered Azerbaijan breakfast and it was the best breakfast experience we ever had, try it! Absolutely smooth check-in and check-out, very professional and thoughtful.

Cons: cleanliness of washrooms were less, it smelled without even using. We asked them to clean but still smell didn't go completely .

Cons: Noise in rooms from adjoining rooms. Staff was not very attentive, one of the curtains in our room fell down, and despite asking 3 or 4 times it was not repaired. It was straight in from of lobby lights, and we had trouble sleeping at night.

Pros: I wanted to write a detailed review - a bad one ( there was nothing pleasant about our stay here) using this section because there isn't enough space - We booked a room with extra large double bed with a nice seating area, hoping to stay at a decent accomodation for our last night on Baku since the other nights we were at a hostel. I was travelling with my husband. We reached ,made the payment via card and the staff took.us to our room. They gave us a room with ( two single beds joined together to make it one large double bed? ) I was shocked and disappointed to see something like this from a chain like them. upon making a complaint the receptionist first told us that this is how a double bed room is! I told her this isn't what booked on the website and this is not the room I made a reservation for.She said shell look into it. I waited for her to call back but when she didn't I called again for an answer. She very shamelessly told me that the room we booked for wasn't available and that they were sorry.( so basically the room we booked online and saw pictures of and paid money for was not available) why would you overbook or mislead your potential costumers if the selected room isn't available at all. I was upset and really angry and asked the lady to connect me to their manager, she told me that they'll talk to the manager and get back to me. so we waited in the room hoping they'd call us soon.this is happening at around 7pm when we were hoping to have this issue resolved soon so we could go out and explore the area around. We waited enough and then when I didn't hear back from them yet again I called again to inquire and was told that the room isn't available and we could have another room ( the one we booked) by the next day. I told them , it's ridiculous because we were staying there for just a night and I very firmly told them to let me talk to their manager, she again hung up saying ok I'll let you know.

Cons: Again when I didn't hear back I called to follow up with the same person I had been exchanging phone calls for the past house now.I was really really upset for their behavior and extremely unprofessional customer service. I called and waited on the other end for someone to pick up and after many rings , this time another operator attends my call. I had to narrate the entire story to him all over again and wanted him to connect me to their manager. He told me that the manager isn't available and that he's left. And no room is available until tomorrow .By this time I was so frustrated, I told my husband to look for another accomodation and called him to have my money refunded and that i didn't want to stay with them anymore. He called back saying that they'll move us to another room and it will take an hour. I was so drained after the conversation back and forth, I could only hope for a decent room now. After an hour , we were moved to another room with a "proper double bed" but extremely compact and small in size ( ofcourse this wasn't the room i had booked ) but we were now too drained to have argued again, I just knew I would write an honest review here. The only nice thing about them was an apology letter and a plate of fresh fruits with it in the new room. My husband thought we should mellow down our review here but then something in the morning happened .I woke up early and called the reception to send a hairdryer because our room had one that wasn't working and also made it a point to tell them we had a flight. We made multiple calls , my husband went downstairs as well and they kept assuring is that it's arriving in the room. literally took an hour giving the same excuses until my husband went to the reception again and brought back one along with him. A friend staying in the same hotel she told me there was another family who was heard yelling at the counter because something similar happened with them as well.
