It was amazing. The staff was so nice and made us feel at home and welcome. Place is beautiful. Jacuzzi tub was a definite plus!! Would come back and stay longer.
Amazing bed and breakfast. The house is beautifully decorated and very charming. The yard and garden surrounding it is very peaceful and reminded me of something out of a children's storybook. I went out one morning and watched several rabbits playing with each other and enjoyed my coffee on the back porch in a rocking chair. It definitely fulfilled some southern nostalgia for me. The breakfast here is amazing. The owner has some very creative takes on different dishes and serves them in 3 courses each morning. The people who work here are really friendly and welcoming. They're also very knowledgeable of the surrounding areas and full of good advice. There are coffee and snacks available in the dining room all day. The neighborhood is really quaint and quiet, full of other beautiful southern-style homes. It's also very easy to walk to downtown. Free parking! The room we had was huge! The bed was also one of the most comfortable and massive ones we had on our whole trip. The owner was also extremely helpful; I had incorrectly booked the dates through booking, however, he allowed us to change the dates without the extra cost booking.com was trying to charge.
Only a very small nitpick, but considering how stellar the breakfast is every day, coffees to order would be preferable for some guests as opposed to filtered coffee. It would be nice to get a latte or a cappuccino with your breakfast. I kept adding a bunch of milk/cream to my coffee to try to give the desired result, but I just kept ending up with lukewarm coffee. Again, a very small nitpick, and just a small suggestion.
The 3 course breakfast each day was AMAZING! The home was beautiful with many places to relax and enjoy the home, property and the neighborhood. We were able to walk to one of the BEST restaurants and walk to downtown Asheville. It was a great place.
Our bathroom was very small, but clean and functional.
Location. Inviting. All of it
Beautiful location, beautiful decor, comfortable bed, personable hosts, excellent breakfast, snacks and beverages conveniently available. We wanted for nothing. Definitely will return.
