Pros: Apart from the obvious attractions of the beautiful building itself and its location, the really noticeable attribute of this Hotel was the genuine helpfulness and warmth of all the staff. We were especially impressed with the professionalism and dedication of Riccardo on Reception. Even before our arrival he had been helpful in answering our questions and during our two days stay he was able to further assist us with arranging transfers for our ongoing travel. . All done with minimum fuss and a smile. Congratulations and thanks to the hotel staff.

Cons: Weather and water were perfect to swim outside, but outdoor pool was not available yet (not cleaned). A pity, given the price per night. Beatiful spa, but 32 degrees hot water and at 10 euro extra. Also despite the already warm weather, airco not available yet.

Cons: The restaurant is vegetarian only for dinner and lunch, which is no problem as the location is very good and there are a lot of restaurants nearby. Do take into consideration that the breakfast options are not exclusively vegetarian, so this should not impact your decision to stay there unless you plan to stay exclusively in the hotel. Not sure if the price of almost 500eur/night off season is good value for money, but we loved the experience nonetheless.

Cons: Not amazing. A bit old and outdated. Would never said is a 5* Hotel. But the main complain is about staff. My friend had a flight at 9am. At 7am she goes to the reception to ask for a Taxi. The man working there informs her “there are no taxis in the middle of the night” and that he will give her a number but won’t call himself “because it’s too early in the morning” .. please explain to me how this makes any sense and is not appropriate for a supposedly good hotel. The lady at the check in was really nice but the general impression was in the end rather bad.

Pros: Friendly and helpful staff. The hotel was spotless. The breakfast had a good choice. Wi-Fi was excellent and the location was brilliant for getting around the lovely historical town. A supermarket is a 5 minute walk away and there's plenty of local restaurants within walking distance. Walk a couple of hundred yards and you can sit and watch the sun go down over the sea. Plenty of benches along the seafront and all the locals are friendly. Such good value for money that I've just booked to go again in a couple of months.

Pros: The breakfast was very good and had an excellent selection. The coffee out of the machine wasn't so good but was drinkable. We had a room, upgraded from a basic room to one with a view over the pool. The a/c worked very well and the bathroom though slightly dated was clean and functional. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the swimming pool excellent.

Pros: Allesandro was superb, very helpful & informative everytime we saw him, definitely the stand out feature, the Bar staff gave me a new found love for Cannonau & the Breakfast staff were attentive too. Cannot fault this find of a hotel, being a short pleasant walk to the town and reasonably priced. The pool was well maintained too, my only small problem was the pool opened too late in the morning to take a dip before breakfast/leaving. Overall immensely happy as we booked this at short notice less than 12hrs before arriving. 10/10 and a credit to the Management

Cons: They see travelers just as a source of profit, if you accidentally break something they charge you 3 times price and start bark at you and press on you, threaten with police even if you want to accept the damage. They have a fine of €30 (dunno if it’s legal) for dirty plates. Only professionally polite personnel. In case of incident, they lie. As aparthotel, they don’t provide salt, pepper and sugar, not to name a tea or coffee or water, washing liquid, even from previous guests there’s nothing left. Not recommended.

Cons: I forgot my Ipad at the hotel and nothing was found by the staff. It means my Ipad was stolen. Nothing was done by the reception to help me, I asked to talk to a manager and apparently there was no manager on duty and no one knew when they were on the rota. I was back in London when I realised (I admit I should have been more cautious, but usually hotel keep clients belonging if they lost it). I am really disappointed by the staff attitude

Cons: Extremely poor sound insulation between rooms. Very uncomfortable beds. Lots of mosquitoes that ate us up at night. Room cleaning only once per week. 100 Euro deposit required (cash only) on check-in, refunded in cash at check-out. Pool area lies mostly in the shade and the pool was not heated, so the water was very cold (14-15 degrees) at this time of year (first week of October). For what it is (i.e. a budget apartment hotel) it was fine, but our expectations were higher.

The view from terrace you can look at the picture. :( Next to the kitchen or bar...i don't know exactly, but at midnight they packed bottles or bearbarrel or something else. It was terrible. We couldnt sleep. You could here everything also from the neighbour room. Our neighbour phoned a lot in the night in english, and we could understand everything. TV is a monitor large, so you can't enjoy it.

Cons: the advertisement/description of the studio is misleading if not scammy in the sense that they advertise a fully equipped apartment but the kitchen is locked behind bars and costs 25€ to unlock. this isn't really transparent or clear on booking on a side note, the whole beach right in front of the hotel (LIDO??) stinks like rotten eggs; Maria Pia in the direction of Fertilia was fine.

Cons: The apartment was actually in a separate building than the hotel itself, and looked a lot more neglected. The rooms, the kitchenette and the bathroom especially were not the cleanest and in need of update, so don’t expect a 4-star facility. I guess we got what we paid for (if that).

Cons: The Staff were mixed - cleaning staff lovely but front of house/bar staff a bit indifferent - not rude but not overly helpful either. Sunbeds basic/uncomfortable. Breakfast ok. The hotel wasn't extortionately priced, but expensive enough for what it was - fairly basic. We were lucky to get a room with refurbished bathroom but I would not have been happy to have paid the price we did for one of the rooms with older bathroom.

Though in a quiet and otherwise uninteresting street, it is right in the middle between the historic centre and the lido, and just couple of blocks from bus station. Pros: The hotel is well kept with large rooms comfortable rooms. It is ideally located half way between the old town and the beach. I also enjoyed the breakfast which had a wide selection of food.

Pros: The location close to the promenades and old town
Cons: No space whatsoever in the bathroom for toiletries. Shower door damage and mouldy. Desk in room a waste of space for a hotel that's not destined for business. Réception and room facilities not a 4*

Cons: No hotel information in the room ie , what facilities were available at the hotel - bar ,restaurant etc There was a "mini bar" ( a small fridge containing 2 small bottles of water ) but no price list. Was the water complimentary ? No ! price 1euro I had not paid for breakfast ( 7 euros a day ) , but the choice available ,from what I saw one morning , seemed very limited ,or maybe they hadn't re-stocked after a mad rush !!

Pros: The front desk man didn't speak english, but tried to be very friendly and helpfull.
Cons: The front desk and the room was not clean, dusty and with bad smells in the room and on corridors. The conditioner air was not working, the cold water was broken and we receive towels to dry the bathroom. Very noisy rooms, we heard every each other person who talk in other rooms. The person from front desk couldn't help us with another functional room, because the hotel was full booked. Because he didn't understand english, he order a taxi for us, without asking to him. The all conditions were maybe for a hostel level, not for a 4 stars for wich we paid a huge amount for having a nice New Year Eve! I real not recommand to stay in this hotel!

Pros: Hotel is in a perfect location. Though in a quiet and otherwise uninteresting street, it is right in the middle between the historic centre and the lido, and just couple of blocks from bus station. It's clean and tidy, with neat Sardinian furnishing and mediteranean feel. The breakfast was very good, with lots of choice.
Cons: If you are looking for seaside view or beach hotel, this won't be your choice. For anything else, go ahead.

Cons: The view basically, however we didn't spend much time in the hotel as it was just somewhere to sleep after a long day exploring. The hotel staff were friendly and the room was clean, I would suggest that towels are replaced every day as there isn't the facility to dry them.

The personel is BIG plus to the hotel.

Cons: Hotel really need renovation. It feels like 90-ys. In the bathroom around the mirrow was visible rust. In the lobby was a lot catologs and leaflets about what to visit or what to see but the seams old, was faded. It is far from center Alghero and from any beach so you need has a car to get anywhere.
