The rooms were extremely small and dark
Nothing apart from location. The lady in the reception was very nice and helpful.
Hotel needs a lot of investment. Do not know who owns it but the owners did not spend any money on the hotel for a long time. The rooms, bathroom are very delapidated, bed covers worn and washed out. Our room was very dark and window very small. The carpets in the hall disgusting. And they charged £94 per night. We stated only 1 night because it is close to train and bus station. But it was not a nice experience.
The location is great. Beer vending machine in the lobby was much loved. Some of the staff were really nice. Overall the room was basic but clean. The balcony was far smaller than expected (standing room only). View is amazing though, really made up for everything + maids seem to do a good job and the room itself was always clean.
This was an expensive stay in the high season. The owner was not really nice but some of the staff were much better. We were on the higher floors facing the ocean so we always took the elevator to our room, one day I walked up to the stairs and they *really* need to clean the carpet on the stairs. The bathroom does not have a window and no ventilation, and the bathroom sink was leaking. It was okay, but would have been better if there was some way to air out the bathroom. It stinks and nothing in there ever gets dry. The bathroom in our room was also very small, just enough for a single person to turn around in.
Position, comfy bed and room cleanliness
Night receptionist a bit cold and not that welcoming, WiFi not available in the room
Good location, friendly staff
Renovation needed, bad smell in the bathroom
