Pros: There is a reason this hotel has such great reviews - it really is wonderful. From the very beginning I got in touch with Erica (hotel manager) and she helped my husband and me get a taxi to the hotel. The hotel is out of the main town and in a special area. Not all cars can go there, so she talked to the taxi driver to figure it out for us. (This was not a big deal at all, so don't let it deter you from staying there.) We got a great room with a big balcony and beautiful view. The rooms are exactly as they look in the pictures - charming, traditional, warm. We were there end of December so it was cold outside, but the heaters worked great and there was a heated blanket too. The restaurant actually serves a huge variety of Chinese and Western dishes. We were pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. The breakfast was great and the best part was that you could eat breakfast anytime you wanted, so there was no need to get up early. Erica arranged a scooter rental that got delivered right to us, which was very convenient, and also a taxi all the way back to the Guilin airport. Erica also did a dumpling making class for the guests, which was awesome. We even made the dough from scratch, and I was able to make veggie dumplings. Then the kitchen cooked them and that was our dinner... delicious. The hotel is lovely, but the biggest thing is that the staff is amazing. Erica is an awesome manager. We had to leave a day early and she switched our reservation without a problem or extra charge. All the other staff were super friendly, helpful, and they all spoke excellent English, which was unexpected. So if you are worried about your lack of Chinese skills, this hotel will make your life easy. Overall this hotel is amazing; I can't recommend it enough.
Cons: The only negative thing I have to say is that the hotel is made of wood and is not well insulated so you hear noises all day long. Earplug are recommended if you don't want to be disturbed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very nice and welcoming. The rooms are very tidy. Food was amazing too.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hostess Erica was so kind and helpful. Really makes all the difference
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Erica and her team are so very accommodating. We arrived late and were welcomed by the staff, who helped bring our bags in, and gave us ginger tea. Everything we asked for we got. They even organized a birthday cake for our crew. The rooms were great. There's a terrace with stellar views to eat at on top. There are bikes to hire for a good price and there was a large van to transport us everywhere. Erica gave us excellent tips of what to do each day. I could not recommend Yangshuo or this hotel highly enough.
Cons: Everything was superb.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room has an old Chinese style as if living in ancient China. Very romantic and great views. Food is excellent and staff are above and beyond friendly. Nice scenic paths and rivers to visit
Cons: Not a lot of shops around but it is off season so understandable.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast choices. The care and service we received from the hotel staff in particular, Enli and Maria, was exceptional. Nothing was a problem for them, they provided help on activities, organised bike and scooter hire, looked after all our needs with great care. Our family rated this hotel as one of the best they have stayed in China. We all had a wonderful time there and we will be back.
Cons: The bamboo furniture in our room is quite a bit dated and would benefit from updating.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel was so cool! Our room was beautiful and unique, with a gorgeous balcony that we loved. The staff here are all amazing, especially Erica. I just loved her so much! She made us feel like we were old friends and was so helpful arranging all sorts of activities. I was actually sad to leave her (which my boyfriend enjoyed making fun of me for). The free daily dumpling instruction class was actually one of the activities I enjoyed most on our month long trip through China (they were so much harder to make than I expected!). The location was great for us as it was a quick bike ride to the Yulong and we really enjoyed exploring around it. Also the restaurant has a gorgeous rooftop terrace you can enjoy the beautiful scenery from. I can’t wait to visit again!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel staff take care customer needs, very helpful. Hotel is beautiful, clean and quite. Location is close to the river, this is our main target in this area.
Cons: Hotel is not in walking distance to city center so lake commercial area's convenience of more shop. But this is not a big deal, hotel staff including hotel restaurant staff made their effort to satisfy customer

Pros: Every thing was great ! Thanks so much for the great staff: Yawen,Flora, Sara, Lynn, Liya, Tanya & ,Leo ..
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We absolutely loved our stay. I was having a hard time choosing between this place and the well-known Tea Cozy, and was happy to arrive and find out that they are by the same owner. The staff was in tune with our requests, had great recommendations, and they were very personable. They all spoke English really well. Leo, the manager, is quite an interesting person and one you should take some time to chat with if you stay. The hotel grounds is picturesque and peaceful. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. I typically like to stay in city centers, but in Yangshuo, the countryside is the better way to go. The hotel is only a ten-minute bike ride away from the city, so it’s a perfect quiet and convenient oasis away from the chaotic city center. If I went back to Yangshuo, I would stay here again without question!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel is beautiful and in the middle of the nature, perfect to relax :) the staff was very kind, always ready to help! Would come back without any doubt, recommend it strongly!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything.
Cons: Nothing. Its awesome!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Character and cozy feeling in an amazing natural setting. The staff was extremely friendly and the food was great. The rooms were clean and comfortable, furnished in traditional old country house style, but equipped with all modern amenities.
Cons: Some people may find the location slightly out of the way but, arguably, this contributes to the peaceful environment.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Extraordinary in all ways - truly charming, historic, unique boutique inn with a beautiful and private suite for our family of 4 adults with two balconies, gorgeous views of karst mountains, amazing dinners provided at hotel restaurant, but most of all the authentically warm and personal hospitality by staff was top-rate! The restoration of this 250+ year old property is imbibed with the fine taste and beauty of a family of high stature from ancient China updated with the comforts of modern day. It’s a dream to be able to live in such a place that harkens back to old China. Leo took care of planning our excursions each day - whether it was rock climbing, massages, Li River cruise, English speaking tour guide for a day-long private tour, arranging for airport transfers or taxis to West Street, or recommending riding electric scooters to explore the local area. He hosted a tea ceremony for us and we learned a lot about Chinese culture with some colorful stories too! We’ve had a truly amazing 3-week vacation in Asia full of peak experiences already and our family can safely say that our short 3 day stay at Yangshuo Ancient Gardens Boutique Hotel was heavenly. Stay here and be sure to order the special kiln baked chicken a day in advance - the free-range chicken is fresh picked locally and prepared with sticky rice stuffing and wrapped in lotus leaves. This is the place to stay for a luxurious retreat and for the deep resources available to you through the caring staff (all speak excellent English for which we were very grateful!).
Cons: Can’t think of anything! Our family loved the full experience of the hotel and amenities.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Exceptional friendliness of the staff, stunning surroundings, great food and delicious rice wine
Cons: Nothing really, perhaps the swimming pool should be heated
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Have good variety of breakfast options. And the location is good if you prefer quiet and close to local dwelling. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Speak good English and able to help with all our request.
Cons: Not applicable
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Highly recommend this beautiful, character full property. We stayed in the Ming Villa with our 3 kids in Jan 2019. The rooms are luxuriously appointed and very comfortable (Ming Villa has plenty of room for a family). The property itself is in a stunning setting and looks gorgeous. The restaurant is excellent, with plenty of Western and Asian choices (our kids loved the spaghetti bolognese), and breakfast is fantastic with lots of choices. The best thing about this property, however, is the wonderful staff. They are so friendly, highly attentive and professional and go out of their way to help you. Ding and the team organised numerous cars, activities and tickets for us during our stay, which meant a fun and stress free visit to Yangshuo. We were sad to leave and would definitely return if the opportunity arises.
Cons: Ming Villa was cold in winter. It was heated, but a lack of insulation means the heat escapes. Electric blankets kept us warm at night. Other rooms in the main building were warm.

7.9 Good
Pros: The place, environmentally protected area; and the building is also nice, traditional chinese style
Cons: The hotel looks decadent; looks to have been a great place to stay in the past, but important investment in restauration and cleaning is needed Also, some pictures show it isolated in the countryside; and not it is fully surrounded by other hotels, much newer and modern Also, the access to the place is limited, no taxis can go in, you need to ask for a special car
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel location is perfect for a city escape. There are many activities if you enjoy an active getaway, and ample space and mountainous regions for an adventure whether solo or with a group. The owner, Jerry, is incredibly helpful and picked us up nearby when we couldn't quite find the location. The hotel is old and beautiful, with views that make you want to stay forever. The local town is quiet and adorable, and the local people are wonderfully engaging if you wish to chat. The area is big enough to explore for days on end, with plenty of watering holes for you to cool down in the summer heat. I'd highly recommend this hotel, and am excited to visit again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful property, lovely rooms, excellent restaurant, amazing staff

Pros: This is a real gem, especially if you have a room on the front, the view is nothing less than breathtaking! Rooftop bar and restaurant are great with a good choice of delicious meals. They have good bicycles on-site and their awesome location makes cycling to the attractions a breeze. Staff was fantastic too, super friendly and welcoming.
Cons: Can't complain, everything was awesome. I'm DEFINITELY going back!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location with the mountain view is splendid and the staff very helpful in planning day trips. They helped us out immediately when we had a flat tire with a rented scooter.
Cons: The showers could certainly be better, yet the water was nice warm.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Outside of city center, quiet and great views. They help booking light show tickets and drive you there. Friendly staff.
Cons: Nothing

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Such a great hotel! The room was incredible: nice layout and decor, huge comfortable bed, nice linen, sparkling clean and amazing views. The food in the restaurant is great and reasonably priced. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and helped arrange a trip and various taxi rides. For us the location was perfect, a gentle 20 minute walk along the quiet road into town, meaning it's extremely quiet but not too far from the action if you need it.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The stuff was very helpful and kind. The restaurant in the hotel is excellent.
Cons: The room service can be a little bit better, the breakfast was meh.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the hotel. It felt like a wonderful get-away place. It was very quiet and peaceful. The room was very clean. The bed was perfect for us. The hotel restaurant was really delicious. The only problem was that we didn't spend enough time in the hotel. We had too many schedule. It would be nice to schedule a day just enjoy the view and river around the hotel. I would recommend anyone to stay here.

The Bamboo Leaf Yangshuo - Yangshuo - Pool
7
9.3 Excellent (801 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Located in Guilin, The Bamboo Leaf Yangshuo is in a rural location, within a 10-minute drive of Yangshuo West Street and Impression Liu Sanjie. Featured amenities include a computer station, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The plumbing and comfort of the bed
Cons: I got food poisoning - suspect the creme brûlée. Only ate in hotel
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff is amazing and speak very good English. Half European owned so some well prepared foods, breads and cheese were as good as any western. Restaurant and drink prices were very good. Attention to details like chilling a wine glass before pouring a Riesling. A free van to town which is only a 15 minute walk along the river. The brand is carried throughout hotel from bamboo toothbrushes to the design on napkins. Highly recommend and definitely eat in the restaurant, you will not be disappointed. Surprised me for my birthday with a piece of cake in my room. Those things set this hotel apart from most Chinese locations.
Cons: Only criticism is location as several of the nearby homes are being reconstructed, the hotel is located on a side ride a little of the main road so it seems less than spectacular but the inside of hotel, the workers and the food make up for it.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: quiet area, good facilities, friendly and english speaking stuffs
Cons: far away from center, limited restaurants around. but there is shuttle bus between hotel and city center. the schedule is very flexible.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A peaceful and beautiful spot walking distance from the main West Street. The staff were lovely and incredibly helpful. The room was gorgeous with a good Mountain View. The breakfast was delicious- often hard to find when traveling. Bamboo Leaf is excellent value for money. From the room prices to the restaurant food and beverages.
Cons: Much like the rest of Yangshuo- it is still developing and so when you look out the windows there are many unfinished buildings that look like building sites. There was no noise though on a Thursday and Friday.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent, very clean, super friendly staff Than you so much
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved everything! We were welcomed with warm ginger tea which was bliss in the cold weather. We booked the room for 4, but it didn’t have a bath and we decided to upgrade the room. (We upgraded because we wanted a bath) Tina was very helpful with the change of our room, she was very sweet and understanding. The rest of the staff were lovely and we appreciated how they payed attention to the finest of details. We stayed over Christmas and loved loved LOVED their on-site restaurant. They catered so well for us, especially as vegetarians. We had a great time in the restaurant and ended most meals with an epic round of board games/cards. It was really a special few days and it wouldn’t have been possible if it weren’t for all the staff members of bamboo leaf. This is the best hotel I’ve ever been to in China and I’ll be back! ❤️ Thank you very much!
Cons: The fact that we didn’t stay longer!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was my second trip to Yangshuo, and I wish I’d stayed here the first time around as well. My sister, partner and I came for NYE for one night. From the get go, Flower was so accommodating with arranging a pick up from Guilin station and suggesting and booking activities for our short stay. Nothing seemed too difficult for them to organise! We had in-house massages and a great lunch in The Garden. Tracy gave us the most amazing restaurant recommendation for dinner and Tammy arranged shuttles for us to and from Yangshuo town (although it is walkable too!). The next morning, Milly checked us out smoothly and efficiently, and ensured we had made applicable arrangements for getting back to Guilin train station. The actual property is stunning - it looks just like the pictures! We’re planning a trip back to Yangshuo at the end of January with my partner’s family who are visiting, and will 100% be staying at Bamboo Leaf again. Thank you for being so hospitable.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff friendly and helpful, spoke English even though we could speak Mandarin. Deluxe room exceptionally clean and comfortable. Bathroom out of sight! Convenient shuttle to the town. Will definitely look up again on our next trip to the area! Would absolutely recommend to a friend and in fact we were recommended this location by friends who had stayed there before!
Yangshuo Village Inn - Yangshuo - Building

9.4 Excellent (145 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Yangshuo Village Inn in Guilin (Ten Mile Gallery), you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Jinshui Cave and Moon Water Cave. Featured amenities include limo/town car service, express check-in, and express check-out. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Loved the restaurant on the roof top, location is absolutely perfect. Room balcony was looking right into the moon mountain witch was beautiful. The staff we're very helpful and the fact that they could speak English made the trip very comfortable.
Cons: 2019 I was there, and from the main gate to the hotel was still under construction with a lot of dust. Not very convenient to walk to the main gate when a car or bus drives in front of you.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Plenty of options available for eating at the inn and the food was great. Staff is so helpful and mostly speak English. You felt like one of the family. Decent bicycles available for free to use.
Cons: The street is being paved and the area around the inn is being renovated and cleaned up so it's a bit of a mess out there right now, but honestly it didn't detract too much from our stay.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The hosts were very kind and helpful. I wasn't well and they went and bought Monk fruit, made a tea with it to help with my bad cough. Food in the Luna Restaurant is good..pity about the noise and view.
Cons: The location: I thought we would have a nice quiet hotel overlooking the Moonhill, but the property is surrounded by six storey apartment buildings in the process of being built..hence noise from 8 a.m. and little or no view. Entry to hotel by car is very bumpy and full of potholes. While we had a family room the space around the beds is quite tight.
7.5 Good
Pros: The staff was very professional The hostel is very well located Nice roof top restaurant
Cons: The area is under construction of road and packing. It destroys all the charms of the place
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing place! Lovely staff and wonderful atmosphere. Great gateway from crowded yangshou
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The inn is located near one of the starting points of the 10 mile gallery road so you can walk/bike/scooter to West street and enjoy the scenery along the way. It is right across from the Moon Hill. The rooms are very nice and comfortable. If you're looking to stay somewhere more peaceful, further out from city center this is a nice option and it will be even better once the construction in the area is complete.
Cons: The inn is in a small village/town that is currently being developed and the area is heavily under construction and pretty torn up. While we were there the roads and sidewalks were still in the process being paved so it was rather muddy given the rainy weather. Given the town is smaller there aren't as many or diverse dining options in the vicinity.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The rooms and hotel were very clean. The staff was attentive. The food was good. What I liked the most was the eco friendly concept.
Cons: Unfortunately the staff gave us a lot of incorrect information that ended up costing us a lot of time and money. We relied on them for information on the departure time of buses for our next destination that was not correct and ended up losing a day because of it, the prices for taxis they gave us were way too high (about 3 times as much as they should be), and once we booked a tour relying on their instructions to the driver and ended up being taken to a different place than agreed which caused a lot of confusion. We had really wanted to do a particular hike but two days in a row were given very incorrect information by the hotel and were unable to do the hike because of it. It always took a long time to communicate where to go and how, although their English was relatively good, it just seemed like they didn’t have correct information. However it is still a nice place, not as luxurious as the photos appear, but it was just a pain for us to arrange things and trust the information given.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location on a quiet edge of the market area. Right outside is a walk along the river. A short walk away is the markets, bars and restaurants. We were especially impressed with the huge bathtub. The hotel let us bring in a bottle of wine we’d bought at a nearby convenience store and even lent us a bottle opener. The balcony was also a nice touch. The reception were especially helpful for booking a cheap bus (that waited for us) to the Silver Cave. If you’re looking for a great place for dumplings and noodles we loved Gan’s Noodle House. If you’re looking for a great bar with craft beer we enjoyed Demo Bar a 5-10min walk if you turn left out the hotel and walk along the river to Dragon Mountain Road. In terms of things to do, we had a great time walking through the main town and then hiring electronic scooters (we got 2 for 100 yuan total!) to drive to Moon Hill. You can also pass the Water Cave and scenic view of the Li River (see the back of 20 yuan notes) on the way.
Cons: My biggest issue was that the room was cold. We tried to get the air conditioner to pump hot air but it didn’t do a very good job. Reception weren’t able to help. Also despite the great decor it lacked a homely feel.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: the hotel is located by the river , 2 minutes from the lively main road of Yangshou. The room is very nice and with all the conform. The staff is very friendly and you can book all the tours nearby and rent bikes (which are perfect to visit the area)
Cons: the small from the restaurant arrives in the hotel part
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Good staff, good place, good view
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel with amazing views, staff were very helpful and we also hired bikes for the day.
Cons: No lift which didn’t bother us, but could be challenging for some, street out side hotel a bit noisy but that’s not their fault .

Pros: Beautiful location and very friendly staff. They made the grounds perfect for a relaxing vacation. The bikes were great to have. They had a list of fun outdoor activities in the area and helped with everything that we needed. Tea was amazing. And to watch the bamboo rafts float by while drinking tea was the most relaxing part of our vacation to China.
Cons: The view from the "Mountain View" rooms is just a wall. No view at all. Food was not that great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Exceptional property, friendly staff, they arranged impression show tickets, hotel to and fro. Free pickup from Yangshuo. Best was the view from hotel and lawn area. Nice place to fly drone.
Cons: Nothing. Very great experience overall. Highly recommended.

Cons: Is a little far from the nearest train station
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Best place in Yang Shuo.
Cons: None
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Everyone spoke English and very helpful. Beautiful location although a tiny isolated but the bike ride was fantastic around the area.
Cons: Restaurant offers a good mix of food. Portion of pasta were small.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: It is well positioned on the Yulong river among the carst stunning mountains. It has a home-like lobby with a sweet atmosphere and with a nice fireplace. The river view was amazing and it was great for those who want just want to relax or have a bamboo ride along the river. It offers free bikes for wonderful rides on the along the river paths. The food was OK (burgers, sandwiches, pizzas were great) but we really loved the ginger tea. The hotel offers free rides to Yangshuo center (3 times a day).
Cons: The bikes need to be replaced with newer/better ones and it would be better to have more children bikes. The transportation offered by the hotel to certain places was really expensive compared to the real value.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Stunning location, amazing service, good food (not exceptional) and a beautiful room with a great view. The staff is very friendly and speaks good English, do it was easy to communicate with them.
Cons: Everything was perfect, unfortunately we stayed a few days only.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: The decor, the location and the food
Cons: Air conditioning is warm and sometimes too cold. Difficult to adjust. Rain shower seems tilted
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The service is excellent. The spa amenities very well equipped. All staff are friendly.
Cons: Nothing in particular, except water temperature in the shower fluctuates from tome to time, also room temperature is not consistent, in the middle of the night becomes warmer.
6.0 Good
Pros: very dirty facilities.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Hotel is lovely but staff don't really speak English leading to many waste of time situations. Breakfast was very good. Room service is over priced and coffee is much more expensive than in Hong Kong!
Cons: English level of staff
7.0 Good
Pros: The location is nice, it's a good base to visit Yangshuo. The place is very clean.
Cons: I found the food quite average. There is a very proficient buffet but I'd much rather prefer less quantity but a better execution. There are quite a few groups staying in the hotel, so it does have less of private / boutique feeling for small parties and people travelling as a family or couple. Also staff could speak better English They could also have more activities to suggest even though not through the hotel
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff. Candy Yuen stands out.
Cons: Restaurant staff need more training/supervision e.g. not clearing plates unless asked.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Reception attention, bed, location..
Cons: A lot of mosquito in the room
9.6 Excellent
Pros: There was a really nice bathtub in the room just by the window looking over the patio. The room was spacious enough and the bed was comfy.
Cons: Careful with the hot water tap! I burnt my hand to blisters! There is a small, too small, sign saying to open cold water first.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff.
Cons: The noise from the nearby pubs and bars at night but I think this affects many other hotels there also.
7.5 Good
Pros: The location is right in the heart of the town
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A very comfortable, clean and friendly hotel in the heart of Yangshuo. Just a steps from the famous West Street with all of its bars, shops and restaurants.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location is perfect. The staff very helpful and Speaks English.
Cons: The bike rent is more expensive then in other places.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff very helpful. In walking us to a tour pickup location. Room and hotel had lots of character and the creek area beautiful
Cons: All was good except didn't expect the street night life to be loud though this was not a problem as the hotel is in a quieter area.

Pros: Everything was perfect. Location great. Staff went out of their way to be helpful. Called when we were near and they came out to Main Street to help us and walk us to hotel (very short walk /5 minutes)
Cons: All was good.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: They are very helpful. The hotel is very nice, good location and within walking distance from drop off point.
Cons: Not accessible by vehicle. Need to get to the hotel by walking.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Well located (main commercial street). The personnel speaks english and they were helpful. We book the Yanghuo Impressions Show withe them (hihgly recommended). The room is very nice and comfartable, although the window waa small. We recommend it!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel was very centrally located within a pedestrianised part of Yangshuo. Large tastefully decorated room. Heating individually controlled in each room (controls labelled in Chinese).
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is right in the center of West Street, location very good and convenient. We booked a family room in the first floor with a balcony, room is ok, very quite (although outside street very noisy). The bedding is comfortable. The hotel stuff was very friendly and even provided us some dumplings to celebrate Chinese traditional festival called 冬至 . Breakfast is basic but quite ok for us.
Cons: The room is bit dim, and the washing basin is opposite the master bed and only with a mirror to separate in between, which I feel not so used to.
7.0 Good
Pros: Hotel was very quaint. Loved the decor and cleanliness of the rooms. Also hotel was very centrally located on the pedestrian street so we were able to easily access shopping and good food.
Cons: The toilet was slightly cramped, and we experienced a bad smell coming from the toilet in the first day of check in. However it was subsequently okay as the staff helped to deodorize the place.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Helpful staff, decent facilities (our 3rd floor room had a "balcony" with a tea table setup - bonus!). Room relatively quiet, although window overlooked carpark and can hear people outside at times. Good location right out onto West Street - easy access to tourist shopping and supermarket a 7-10 min walk away.
Cons: No elevator access - didn't pose too much of an issue to us but could be for those on 2nd or 3rd floors with heavy suitcases. Definitely had a boutique hotel feel, but fittings did feel a bit aged and worn. Not the easiest to find on your own - signage and hotel is tucked away in a corner next to giant tourist shops and the exterior isn't the most welcoming.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the ambiance of the hotel and our room. Although it is located in the middle of the lively West Street, it is set back from the street. They have done an excellent job making this a quiet, peaceful hotel. The staff were exceptionally accommodating in helping us arrange scooters, giving directions, and arranging our ride back to Guilin. We would not hesitate to return.
Cons: Not related to the hotel or their staff, but the driver taking us back to Guilin was uncomfortably distracted with his phone. I had to tell him to either play with his phone or drive the van. He chose the latter. His distraction with his phone was disconcerting and we did not feel safe at the time.

Pros: The location is stunning, 10 min drive from city centre, on a mountain, just relaxing. The view from the room balcony and on the sun terrace was amazing. The staff is super friendly and helpful organi singolo cars and day trips, even though their English is not amazing. The place is just quiet and relaxing, totally approved!
Cons: The only thing that could be improved is the breakfast, Adding more variety of western food, and the menu for lunch and dinner doesn't have many choices, but still the food is amazing and cooked by the family, so it's really traditional!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The Location, the views were amazing. Personal very hepful and the Dumplings the best ones ever!

Pros: very friendly and helpful staff, location is so peaceful. The design of the entire place is beautiful. They also helped to arrange transport and activities in the region. It was a great stay and I would love to come back in the future.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The couple that runs this place was extremely helpful and welcoming, they gave us tea while we checked in, had our bags carried to our rooms, and made sure every detail was okay. They recommended plenty of great places to see around town, and let us rent their gas scooters to get around, which was extremely fun I might add. They even noticed I had a cough and gave me some monkfruit tea to brew for my throat which worked really well! They went over and above our expectations to ensure we had a great stay. Also, they serve breakfast lunch and dinner, all of which were very delicious. They have some great Western options as well as local Chinese breakfasts and for dinner some great Chinese dishes.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The property is on a little hill with a magnificent view over the amzing landscape. Spectacular! The Hotel is very quiet and the staff is very helpful and always there, when you need them. As often in China, staff's englisch is little. But with the translation via mobile dialogues are easy.

Pros: Really close to nature, green everywhere. In the middle of the mountain really calm, nice view of the mountain
Cons: We found the towel were dirty when we arrived. A bit yellow with black spot on it. But lucky we brought our own towel. A part from that the rest was really nice.

Pros: I loved the beautiful terrace with a wonderfull view in the middle of nature.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Our stay was excellent and I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Yangshuo. The hotel is located inside the restricted '10-mile gallery' tourist attraction, it's about ~30min from the city but you're surrounded by the most beautiful scenery. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and spacious, we had zero issues. The free breakfast was limited in selection but sufficient. The hotel also offered free bikes which I think would be an excellent option to explore the surrounding areas. We rented a motorbike for our stay, it was more convenient for going to the city and other attractions outside of the 10-mi gallery and the price was super reasonable (60yuan / day). If you don't know already, traffic is restricted in the area where the hotel is located, which means you can't simply call a cab. Aside from bikes / motorbikes, only approved vehicles can enter and exit the area during the day. This wasn't an issue for us or other guests AFAIK but just something to keep in mind. Specifically, I want to highlight the hotel staff, who made our stay exceptional. Everyone spoke English and, more importantly, is extremely friendly and helpful. We arrived Yangshuo via ferry and Feifei was very accommodating in arranging a car pickup; she also followed up multiple times throughout our stay to make sure all of our needs are taken care of. Jacky, another hotel staff, volunteered to take us on a local tour of the area, and it was one of the best part of our stay. We climbed (little) mountains, explored caves, and hiked trails only locals knew about. Thanks Feifei, Jacky, and the entire staff for a great trip!
Cons: One suggestion is to offer a breakfast menu as I didn't know to order the noodle bowl until I saw other guests slurping theirs. Maybe there were other a la carte breakfast options we could've tried :)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a lovely stay in the hotel, far away from crowds, city, rush, in a peaceful location. Great for kids. They offer free bicycles - not all in perfect condition but ok. The areas nearby are perfect for hiking, cycling. Food in the restaurant is very good, portions are big. Free coffee and great tea available all day. Staff speaks english and is very friendly. As our plane was late they agreed for a late check out free of charge. Organized transport to airport which went very smooth (300 CNY).
Cons: just minor thing - you hear the noise from outside as the windows are not fitted very well so it might be little disturbing during the night time/ morning.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was the highlight of our visit to China! It was a tranquil setting and a great place to explore the local scenery with free bikes offered by the hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the food was excellent, and the room was immaculate with incredible views. A peaceful place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. I'd highly recommend it to our friends and family.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful place and a great stuff Enjoyed our staing!!!! Rooms are very nice and clean
Cons: No resurants near the hotel
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is set a little far from Yangshuo town, but this is exactly what we wanted. Staff are conscientious, the food is excellent and the bikes that are available free of charge are a great way to explore the amazing karst landscape. Would not hesitate to recommend staying here.
Cons: Arriving at the hotel by public transport from the railway station was a little tricky. Although it was much cheaper to do this ourselves, in hindsight we probably should have accepted the offer of a pre-arranged taxi. I think we were quoted 350-400RMB.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The manager Jackie provided personalised service and made sure we were looked after and had well organised activities. We had an amazing time.
7.9 Good
Pros: Nice place away from the chaos of West street. Easy to book tours through Jason who was helpful.
Cons: A bit too pricy for what you get. Room was nice but we had no view even though it said in the description we had one. Renting motorbikes can be pricy, and it can be confusing to book tours through the staff there, make sure you get there with a plan of what you want to do, and plan according to the expected crowds.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is lovely and the staff is awesome. Best service in China. Jason and Jacky were excellent particularly. And all the other members of staff were also wonderful. Always helpful and always smiling. The garden/barbecue party they've organised one evening was absolutely lovely. The pool is very refreshing.
Cons: Having to book a taxi each time you need to go somewhere, since the hotel is in traffic controlled area, it's 60 rmb each way to connect to Yangshuo town nearby, more in the evenings.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location. Quiet. Perfectly clean. Away from touristy traps.
Cons: Nothing I didn’t like.

Pros: The staff was very nice and welcoming. The rooms are very tidy. Food was amazing too.
