Pros: The location of the hotel was excellant, the concierge service was good, the staff were really friendly, the hotel looked really nice on the inside and the rooms were a good size. The breakfast was good.
Cons: For having a executive double room, the mini bar was empty for out entire stay, the bed could have been alot more comfortable and the bose sound system was no where to be seen! Lastely the thermostat was not the easiest to use, as it took quite a while for our room to warm up! At check out tried to charge us fot a drink we did not even have, so the communication could have been alittle better. Also me and my wife was celabrating our 1st wedding anniversary at your hotel and even thoe we did mention on our booking, your hotel did nothing to make our stay extra special. We ended up going to eat dinner at the hotel next door and wow so glad we did, they did so more to more to make us feel special on our big day, and the worst thing was we wasnt even staying at their hotel.

Pros: The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. I was traveling on an extended trip and was in Eton at the start. I wanted to store a piece of luggage and they kept it for 9 days and when I arrived it was waiting in my room. On departure, I needed to take an early flight out of Heathrow and they arranged for a taxi to pick me up and the cost was less than other taxis I had spoken too.

Cons: The breakfast on the first morning wasn't as good as the second day. Also the coffee could have been nicer. We also had the afternoon tea which was a bit of a let down - I expected a bit more luxury. Also our bed was broken on one corner which didn't effect our sleep but would have been nice if it had been fixed/checked before our stay.

Cons: When myself and my partner arrived, we were told that they couldn't finds our reservation for the room which was made through booking.com, after the best part of an hour it was sorted but the hotel was definitely not well staffed for the busy time periods and when problems arise. However they did upgrade our room for our stay, which was a lovely apology.

Cons: When we entered the bar area for breakfast, there was no one around (arrived 9:45am & they served until 11am) only someone mopping the floors. We had to ask for juice as jugs were empty & then had to go to the small reception area to ask for a menu & then had to go back there to order our breakfast. When it did arrive it was very good indeed. Sadly just the service let it down.

Pros: Loved this wee pub hotel. Ideally located for easy walking access to the character streets of Windsor and Eton and only a few minutes stroll uphill to the castle entrance. Clean, comfy and warm. I didnt eat here but the food looked delicious. Highly recommend for Windsor explorers without cars. Train stop a 2 min walk away.
Cons: A bit of noise from the downstairs bar but doesnt go too late and ear plugs provided resolved any need to sleep before 11pm. It's in the middle of town after all.

Cons: Unfortunately on arrival, while the power points worked, no electric lights were working. With no supervisor on site, called mobile ph number provided, no answer so left message which was later responded to by text; supervisor attended, entered locked part of building, adjusted power breaker & left; shortly after, power again failed; we again texted & went out for dinner (dark by this time) Later in evening, supervisor replied via txt, suggesting we move to room next door & giving us door code; pitch dark & late by then, we decided against this idea & managed via mobile phone torch light to get to bed; electrician arrived about 9 am next morning & fixed problem by which time we were about to leave !!! Still no supervisor on site, we sent a txt saying the lack of light was unsatisfactory & enquiring about possible rebate; 4 days later have had no response !!! At the very least, when supervisor briefly attended & flipped breaker switch, I expected some words of apology & when fault re-occurred, the offer of a decent torch or maybe 2 & a further apology for our inconvenience, would have been appreciated. Also, an acknowledgment of our final txt re partial fee refund, even if refused, would again have been appreciated.

Cons: Lovely building but serious improvements are needed with regards to internal plumbing. So noisy. Thankfully quieter once every one had gone to bed. Even running a tap resulted in rattling and clanging. My first room was ridiculously tiny a 4 inch gap between the desk and bed which you had to squeeze through to get into the bed. Couldn't stay in the room as squeaky air vent control and chronic rattling pipe sounds. On complaining I was moved to a better room however despite having the tv on I could still hear the plumbing issues. Not a good night's sleep at all. Left at 8.30 to get home to my bed.

Cons: We booked a standard double to beginning with but the offered to upgrade to a superior, but was pretty disappointed on entering the room, it was very dated and the window overlooked the roof and air conditioning units, was not what we expected a superior room to be. We also found the young girl on reception on checking out to pretty rude and have no hospitality skills at all. For what it cost I was a little dissappointed with the room.

Cons: The room finishing's are tired more attention to detail is required in the bathroom particularly in a few mouldy spots and on the skirting boards - These may have been bashed over time. I did not like the fee for parking that is a very unattractive prospect of staying in the hotel - It should either be factored into the price or reduced or better yet be part of the already good service that is provided.

Management of the hotel and Carvery need to take a good look at this and improve. Very disappointing!

Pros: View was great and room had character. Great location in central Windsor. Bed was big and comfortable.
Cons: Was expecting a more luxurious bathroom (bit eas adequate) and air conditioning didnt work (wasnt too hot so not an issue to us). Restaurant was closed for refurb which was disappointing and contractors working on refurb made a lot of noise at breakfast.

Pros: We had an amazing room overlooking the Castle very big bed and a settee separate bath and shower. The room was very quiet even though we were on a busy road with lots of tourists. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. We had a problem with the sink but it actioned immediately. Location was fantastic the Castle opposite and shops restaurants and bus stops right outside and the river Thames 5 mins away. Will definitely stay here again

It is a lovely riverside walk to the town centre with plenty of interesting sites along the way. There are supermarkets nearby. It is a good base for Legoland and the host told us we were welcome to park in the carpark for the day while we went to Legoland even though we had checked out.

Cons: Entrance was tight downstairs no plug socket for kettle. Ongoing maintenance which was fine but just making a note. Room had no air con so warm.

Cons: Bathroom shower seemed a bit dirty looking, tap was broken and moved around, shower was broken and would go hot and cold if you moved it literally 1/4 of a multimeter, wallpaper coming off walls at the bottom, the milk tasted off so I couldn't even have tea, people outside my window would smoke and my room would stink of cigarettes... No care seemed to be given to the room. Bathroom door wouldn't shut all the way and also the front door was a little iffy.

Cons: The owner was slow to check us in and show us to our room. In the dining room the washing was hanging around (not a good look). The shower room was ok but the fan had the protective piece missing and there was mould in the shower.

Cons: We went down to breakfast at 9.45am and they had stopped serving as there was no one in the restaurant. This could easily be avoided if at check in we were asked if and when we'd like to have breakfast the next day. Also, getting hold of anyone via phone or email before hand proved quite difficult. However everything else was lovely for our short one night stay and I would recommend.

Cons: List of complaints: - Took 10 minutes to check in, manager was asleep and other colleague was useless. (checked in before just around 7pm) - Shower head broken. - Shower mount broken. - Water took 10 minutes to heat up in the shower. - Tiniest shower ever and easily made a mess. - No air conditioning. - Extremely hot temperature in the room. - Could hear a washing machine around the evening. - Bed was half broken. - No hair dryer. Can continue but I don't think anyone should regard this place as a hotel. Not suitable to stay in.
