Breakfast & evening provisions were WONDERFUL...especially the evening service. She is really, really great.
First of all, I was present when another patron checked in & his room was $15/night less than I was charged...why was that? I offered my AARP card, but was told the discount I received was better than the AARP rate...so why did he get another $15 less rate. On the 2nd night of my stay, the power went off. The staff person at the desk did not appear helpful or concerned & he told me it would be back on by 8:30, but it didn't come back on until 12:50am...I lost about 7 hours that I could have worked on my computer which is my traveling obligation. When I asked about this when I checked out, the clerk chuckled & said there was no discount for that lost work time. I understand the outage wasn't the fault of the Inn but a little concern would have been appreciated. I am a 71 year old woman traveling along...it was very uncomfortable & stressful for me.
The bed was comfortable. Sunday’s breakfast was better than Saturday.
We had a group of 6 rooms and they were all in different buildings. I am an 80 year old widow and didn’t like being in a building by myself. Uneven sidewalks made it dangerous for walking after dark. One couple needed a handicap accessible room and didn’t have it.
The location on okay. Upon arrival there was a fan blowing on the carpet and the room was out-dated and not well kept. They asked for another room. This was very embarrassing for us as we (Chisholm Trail Church of Christ) had made this reservation for a visiting minister. They said the handle on the refrigeration was broken and felt the room was really outdated. Needless to say we will not use Tallgrass again when booking for out of town ministers.
Worn out and rundown ,mold , dry rot, crumbling deck. Unsafe railing and stairs rusted.Needs to be demolished. Was THE place to stay 25 years ago now a sham staying open with old reviews
Bed was excellent
Our room didnt get cleaned and no towels one day
