Two areas for improvement: 1) the chowder ordered during room service was luke warm at best. the order took 55 minutes to arrive so, isn't a surprise. Was delicious, just not hot. 2) the sconces in the bathroom hadn't been dusted in ages. Most other areas of the room were very clean, but I noticed those were lacking.

Fairmont Gold rooms were worth the extra money. The hotel was just amazing overall.
Food was good. Drinks good. Staff friendly and very helpful.
Nothing could make it better!
We traveled with small children, skied everyday, enjoyed the breakfast choices, the lounge after skiing and the kids loved the late afternoon sledding and relaxing in the hot tub. The staff and facilities were all fabulous. The young people working there appeared to enjoy themselves and their jobs as much as the guests enjoyed the surroundings- hats off to the team of managers who keep this place so positive and the attention to the details!! We hope to make it an annual visit!!!
Excellent hotel with ski in - ski out
Service was outstanding. Beds comfortable, facility clean and beautiful. Location perfect for skiing.
HVAC system was not up to the standards of the rest of the hotel. Did not fuction well when there were temperature swings outdoors.
The pool was packed with screaming kids, even in the lap pool.

I've got charged USD 35 per night for my car's parking, despite the fact that I could've easily taken my car out without even telling the hotel's staff. A rip off.

Below are a few factoids about our honey bee program for your reference. WHO. European Honey Bees. Four hives totaling approximately 120,000 bees. WHAT. The bees will work to pollinate local flowers and produce honey that will be harvested by our Chefs for use in culinary and cocktail creations and will be sold in the Portobello Market and Fresh Bakery. The honey produced will be a delicate wildflower variety that will be a result of the local flowers the bees pollinate. WHERE. Hailing from Delta BC, The bees will be located on our rooftop above the Frontenac Ballroom. WHEN. Arrival. June 29, 2013. Departure. Mid September. WHY. This sweet new initiative is part of the Fairmonts Green Partnership program, helping the local environment by providing bees to pollinate area gardens and parks. By harvesting the honey, chefs are able to offer a local and sustainable honey for use on site. HOW. Our Beekeeper Steve Gourley will visit the hives every few weeks to ensure the Queen is in place and the hives remain healthy. Once the bees produce enough nectar, Steve will work to spin it into honey. BEES AND FAIRMONT GUESTS. Our number one priority is to make sure that our guests and employees are safe and secure as well as people in the surrounding area. While we do not believe there is anything for our guests to be concerned about, the bees are located in an area that is tucked away from public space. At this time there will not be public access to the hives.
