The leisure centre pool was very nice and staff were friendly.
The breakfast was undoubtedly the worst hotel brekki I have had. Only 1 staff member on, under serious pressure god love him. The coffee was like water, I had to send it back. There was a lot that wasn’t there. No sausages, no fried eggs, no brown bread, no croissants. All of those needed to be topped up and we were there for at least an hour and they weren’t topped up. Fruit salad comprised of only chopped apple! The white pudding tasted gone off. I complained on check out. The hotel itself was clean, and the room was adequate, albeit, insanely hot. But to say the breakfast was disappointing is an understatement. And total cost of 199€ plus 12.50€ each for breakfast, it certainly wasn’t cheap, so one would expect a decent breakfast.
Staff could not have been nicer. Great staff very friendly and helpful
No room furniture and fittings were very dated. There was a hole in my curtains which were also very dirty, the bad was very old and the frame had some very questionable stains which had been covered over which a fabric cover. The room was very big but did not have a sofa. In general very outdated and in need of an upgrade
Beautiful hotel room (bridal suite). Lovely swimming pool but the restriction on under 17 using the jacuzzi was limiting (my son was 15 and this excluded him).

On booking app, we chose the 'executive room' which was €20 more expensive. The room was very standard, there wasn't even a fridge. At the reception desk I questioned the difference between the standard room and the executive room we booked. I was told there's not much difference. It maybe a little bigger or maybe refurbished.
Perfect base to discover Waterford.
No air conditioner but was a real problem as it wasn’t that hot
