High quality historic property.
Turn down service very late ie. 9:30 pm
The location and the grandeur.
Common areas very cramped. Staff were businesslike and friendly, but not warm and welcoming. Promised a suite with a view but ended up staring at the hotel opposite, hardly a view. Very expensive for what it was, clearly trading on the past.
Location, modern convenient room, bar. Staff
Breakfast slow service, over expensive, house keeping latency.
A very enjoyable stay, fabulous room and fabulous breakfast. The setting and location were excellent, the suite was spacious and well decorated. As the stay was part of a birthday celebration, the hotel staff made a great effort to mark the occasion, which was thoughtful and very much appreciated. Looking forwards to going back, would definitely recommend.
Everything was perfect !! We had an amazing experience ❤️
The family-operated Sacher Wien hotel is a luxury property that has been dubbed as a favorite destination among visitors. Many famous faces have graced the hotel, including Queen Elizabeth II, J.F.K., Graham Greene and John Lennon. Despite the formal luxury, the atmosphere is very welcoming to all travelers, most of them being well-heeled corporate travelers and vacationing couples. However, the amenities for children often attract many families as well.
The Sacher is located in a prime Innere-Stadt location, just across from the Opera House and Karntner Strasse, Vienna’s most popular shopping street. In addition, it’s near top museums, restaurants, and bars. Albertina, Monumental Saint Stephen’s Cathedral, Hofburg Palace, and Karlsplatz Station are also nearby. There are several attractions and sites all within a two-to-twelve-minute walk from the hotel, and the airport is only a 27-minute drive.
Authentic Viennese dishes in the hotel’s restaurants, two quintessential cafes, and a beloved bar on-site all attribute to the hotel’s luxurious and refined atmosphere and provide a delicious taste of Vienna. There is also a 24-hour fitness center, sauna, salt-steam room, and full-service spa designed for relaxation. If traveling for business, the hotel also offers a series of banquet halls, salons, and conference facilities. The Petit Sacher program is designed for kids and is perfect for vacationing families.
Travelers will find a miniature Sacher-torte and house-made chocolates waiting in their room on arrival. Accommodations range from 350 to 1,185 square feet and provide a classic style mixed with contemporary amenities and ultra-modern bathrooms. All rooms come with mini-bars, flat-screen TVs, air-conditioning, digital safes, docking stations, and free WiFi. Extras for the sleek bathrooms include hairdryers, cozy robes, and toiletries from the house spa.
