This is used more as an affordable housing option for locals than for travellers. Paper thin walls (we were kept up in our private room by the guy snoring next door), the mattresses are the plastic kind used to prevent bed bugs, the bathrooms are covered in mold, and most of the appliances in the kitchen were not even working. The owner tries to fill the place with as many people as possible, including closet-sized rooms without windows and heating (I honestly have no idea how this is legal). Pay whatever the extra money is and stay somewhere else - we are kicking ourselves for not doing so.
The location was convenient to the places we wanted to go. Check-in went well. The woman who runs the place obviously takes great pride in the work that she does and spent some time showing us the map of the area.
Although the location is convenient to the tourist sites, we had to walk through a bit of a sketchy area to get to it. Checkout was a little confusing, and we ended up having to rush back from dinner the night before we left to make sure someone would be there to give us our key deposit back (which was $20). Communication was a bit challenging, so we weren't sure if there would be someone available to check us out in the morning. The bathrooms worked fine and were clean enough but looked like they could use some maintenance.
It was close to city
It had 2 broken toilets 1 toilet had no lid to close on the toilet & the seat that was there, was wired on & moved when you sat on it. The other toilet had the top lid on the water tank missing. There was only ONE microwave & it was broken & it looked like they had no intention of fixing ANYTHING The bathrooms also not clean & they had 2 little hooks & NO shelf at all in the shower to put ANYTHING on. The mop & bucket was left in the hall & the mop was filthy. How can you clean ANYTHING with something that is FILTHY. Towels in the kitchen were filthy also. So glad I had my own cup. The toilet smelt worse than ANY public toilet I have been in. Unfortunately I had payed for my 4 nights on line. To top it off ..... the staff were very unhappy & not friendly at all. I thought maybe they were having a bad day .... However ....4 bad days in a row I will stop raving now.
Sketchy area. Bathrooms smelled like urine. Dirty facility. Microwave was broken. Mattress but no box spring. Atrocious decorating.
The staff is not able to do their business, we needed 1.5h for the check in (!!), the room had no key, we have to pay a deposit for the bed stuff, it smells and is disgusting
