I will return
After a very long night at what I thought was a youth hostel, but ended up being more of a halfway house, I found Scwachays. What a blessing. I spent two glorious nights at this boutique hotel. From the time I walked in the door, I felt like part of the family. Everyone was so welcoming and kind. There's a very special spirit here that was palpable throughout my stay.
The Skwachays Lodge Aboriginal Hotel & Gallery features many amenities that guests enjoy. One of these useful amenities is the complimentary breakfast. At the Skwachays Lodge Aboriginal Hotel & Gallery, visitors can enjoy a satisfying breakfast in the morning. Also, there's free high-speed internet, which can be convenient for anyone carrying a smartphone or a laptop. The hotel offers a multilingual staff that can help a wide range of people. Additionally, the facility is wheelchair accessible, which can enhance convenience for visitors. It's both a smoke-free and pet-friendly environment so that guests can keep their dog or cat with them during their stay. These amenities can be useful for families, couples and business travelers.
There are 18 extraordinary suites that were designed by local Aboriginal artists and interior designers. Each room has a microwave and a refrigerator, which enables visitors to store food and reheat it whenever necessary. This also allows guests to keep their favorite beverages at the right temperature. Moreover, every room has air conditioning so that guests remain cool and comfortable during their stay. There are a tea maker and a coffee maker in every room, too.
Thanks to its location in Vancouver's historic Gastown district, the Skwachays Lodge Aboriginal Hotel & Gallery is within minutes of popular restaurants and shops that locals adore. Also, Rogers Arena and BC Place are within walking distance of the hotel. Stadium-Chinatown Skytrain station is close, too, which can be convenient for those looking to commute and explore the area.
