10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very well organized - beautiful gardens
Cons: Expensive meals
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is very nice. Rooms are very spacious, breakfast is amazing and the staff is always ready to help.
Cons: The location is definitely not great. If you are planning on vitiating Machu Picchu, Ollantaytambo or Aguas Calientes are much better options. The train that leaves from the hotel takes about 3 hours each way and the time table is not very convenient. If you’re only staying more than one night there will be very little to do, as Urubamba doesn’t offer much for tourists.
10.0 Excellent

5.8 Okay
Pros: The place has great gardens and it has several fireplaces
Cons: We booked a car with the hotel to pick us up from cuzco and it never showed up. Elizabeth the owner was a little rude, not very customer oriented. Employes although nice they seemed to be missinformed all the time, giving us incorrect information. Prices for wine and beers are way too expensive, try to get them while you are in downtown.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway and Sacred Dreams Lodge was perfect. It is designed so that everywhere you look there is beauty in flowers and the sound of running water as well as the mountain views. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We are definitely planning a return trip.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wow--this lodge is truly a special gem! This is one of those unique places that will stay in our memories forever. From the moment we booked our stay, German and the staff made us feel incredibly well accommodated. German arranged transport for us from the Cusco airport with an included tour of some sites like Chinchero and Moray on the way to the lodge. He also helped us arrange drivers and excursions for each day of our visit, making everything seamless and easy for us. The property itself is breathtaking, with a forested setting, river, and meticulously maintained flowerbeds that make the area feel like an oasis. The architecture of the lodge is fascinating, built with site-made adobe bricks using traditional methods. Don't miss the photo albums in the lounge that show the construction process! We stayed in the suite that included a fireplace and an outdoor hot tub and the room was blissful. Very comfortable bed, nice toiletries, and a mini fridge stocked with water, soda, and beer. Whenever we wanted the hot tub filled or a fire started, we were able to easily contact German via WhatsApp and he would quickly send a staff member to the room to help us. In the restaurant, Violeta took wonderful care of us for the buffet breakfast and a la carte dinner every day. The food was great (perhaps not a gourmet experience, but still delicious and more than worth the close proximity) and we have fond memories of drinking coca tea and pisco sours by the fire in the lounge. Overall, the Sacred Dreams Lodge had the best of hospitality: we simultaneously felt like we were staying in a relaxed friend's home yet we also always felt pampered and looked after. We stayed at a much more expensive luxury resort near Machu Picchu later in our trip and we couldn't help but feel that our experience at the Sacred Dreams Lodge surpassed the luxury resort. We can't recommend this wonderful lodge enough!
Cons: Everything was perfect! The only thing we can think to add would be access to hot tea and coffee in the room. We would have loved to lounge in bed a bit longer each morning but we made ourselves get up to head to the restaurant since we always need our coffee fix first thing. Not a big sacrifice since the restaurant was also a lovely space to relax!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It's so relaxing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was amazing! They proactively helped with everything you could think of. We talked over WhatsApp the majority of our stay. Our room had an outdoor hottub which was nice to relax in at end of the night. The eggs were super fluffy!! Stay here!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Sacred Dreams Lodge was AMAZING! The beautiful rooms are only out done by the setting. Our group of 8 people reserved 4 rooms and all of them were lovely. The lodge is situated in a small wooded canyon. A river runs through the property. German was there waiting for us to check in. He helped us with transportation and tours. We had to leave before breakfast so he made sure we had boxed snacks to take with us. He went above and beyond for our group. The night of our stay it was very cold and the staff made sure we had space heaters and hot water bottles.
Cons: People from our group were interested in using the hot tub but it was an extra charge.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: nicely decorated rooms, very helpful staff, a perfect place for relaxation.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: SO BEAUTIFUL. Quiet & serene. The land, the lodges and the staff are all 5 stars.
Cons: We loved everything.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Sacred Dreams is a beautiful oasis in the Sacred Valley. It was lovely to walk around the garden and enjoy the gorgeous flowers and watching the hummingbirds fly from one plant to the next. The buildings are beautiful and meticulously cared for. Germain and his staff were extremely attentive and took care of all our needs including booking taxis for us. They even had breakfasts bags prepared for us when we had to leave the resort for a 4 AM tour. We ate our evening meals in the restaurant and they were all delicious. As with many of our stays, I wish there were more vegetarian options on the menu. I was following advice to only eat cooked vegetables in Peru, so it really limited my dining choices in many places. Our room was super clean, comfortable and we relished the hot tub and room fireplace on the chilly evenings in the Sacred Valley. I would definitely recommend a stay here if you are in Urubamba.

Pros: amazing local artists show , andinian music and sofisticated folkloric performance . Staff so friendly and kind .
Cons: I felt like a very appreciated guest , having lots of relax in the middle of beautiful sites . Perfect for a quite and comfortable stay

Cons: No turkey :(
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was a number 10, we enjoyed sampling all the various and interesting items offered, almost overwhelming! Location is excellent, not far off rt 28b, but far enough for a quiet more private location.
Cons: Could have provided more water gratis with the room. They did provide two small bottles free, but two other larger 1 liter bottles were 10 soles each, a heavy price considering we could buy 21/2 liter bottles at the Mercado for 3 soles each.
7.9 Good
Cons: Short bath
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The 2 story rooms were amazing
Cons: The bar wasn’t open until after 1. There is no pool.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location Excellent food Spacious rooms Friendly staff
Cons: Spa was not included in the price
7.9 Good
Pros: The actual hotel is beautiful, decorated in a a Peruvian lodge style, surrounded on all sides by mountains. The food (breakfast and dinner) were fantastic and the restaurant staff were very good!
Cons: The checkin experience left much to be wanted. We were greeted by staff who seemed completely disinterested in being there and just running through the paces. We stayed in one of the villas behind the main hotel. It was also not up to the standard we expected having stayed at the Inkaterra Casona in Cusco and other 5 star hotels on our journey through South America. The actual villa was average at best - the amenities were standard and the room quite dark, not to mention that we had lukewarm water for the whole stay. The staff assured us they had never experienced the problem before and tried to fix it multiple times. Needless to say, not what you expect when paying so much for 2 nights stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a beautiful place to stay... in a lovely quiet setting with panoramic views of the surrounding mountain. The room, the service, the amenities and the friendliness of the staff were all exceptional. We would love to come back!

Cons: They were renovating when I stayed, but the inconvenience was minor and hardly noticeable.

Pros: Best deal for the price. Clean, comfortable rooms and helpful staff, nice garden. ReWill stay again.
Cons: Long wait for the water to get hot in the shower.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The property wasn't in the center but still considering how small Urubamba is, it has a great location! Hospedaje Venka Urubamba is in a nice big and old building/house with a super nice garden in the back yard. The room was super nice and comfy and the breakfast was amazing, super tasty and big, and it is served in a nice living room in the second floor with sunny and nice views to the backyard. The staff was helpful and kind from the very beginning. We would highly recommend to stay here.
Cons: Unfortunately the shower did not work properly: it has a electric hot water system and we weren't able to have a consistent hot water during our shower. We talked with the hosts and they promised to repare it, what is great and I truly believe they will :)

Pros: Our family stayed 3 nights in this small hotel by the river. We enjoyed almost everything. It’s very cozy lovely place. Beds are super comfortable, staffs are very nice. It feels like home away from the home.
Cons: Towels are old and hard which is not to the standard of other amenities
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location, helpful staff, good rooms
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is lovely, situated beside the river and the town square. The rooms were clean and comfortable with beautiful views of the Ollantaytambo ruins. Communication with Derek was excellent. He arranged for a very knowledgeable and friendly guide/driver (thank you Edwin!) who drove us to and from Cusco. The breakfast (included) was delicious and the service was excellent.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, besides river and looking mountain with Temple of Sun in front of you. Room has modern heating. Warm water very good.
7.5 Good
Pros: The room was a good size with a private bathroom. It was clean but a little basic. The breakfast was simple but tasty (fruit, bread rolls, eggs on request, yogurt, jam, a few cold meats). The location is great, right in the middle of town but set back from the road to avoid road noise. Around 10 minutes to walk to the station, and lots of restaurants within a 1-minute walk. Reception staff were helpful although a little disorganised!
Cons: I think it all depends on where your room is. We were on the ground floor and we didn't have any windows opening into the outside. We had two windows, one of which opened to an internal courtyard, and the other opened into a wall cavity. So it was not possible to get any fresh air into the room, which really bothered me, and I felt the room was quite musty as a result. However, I think if we had chosen a 'mountain view' room we would have had lots of lovely windows and a balcony. So just be careful which room you book!

Pros: Beautiful energetic property with great gardens
9.6 Excellent
Pros: There is a very beautiful and natural garden, and native adobe houses with all the comfort and artistic tasty; The vegetarian breakfast and food are excellent, we really hope to stay longer in this special hostel.
Cons: It is hidden at the end of a village way, which might be a little bit complicated to find it if you arrive after the sunset, but also just for this, you may call it a secret garden.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing stay, we enjoyed it every minute. De accomodation is relaxing en beautifull. We had a good nightsleep in the houses and a wonderfull breakfast!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very attentive and helpful. The location was superb in a quiet spot near a bubbling stream far from the noise of Urubamba. It is built with natural elements. Gorgeous grounds. The meals were healthy and vegetarian!! There is a yoga studio on site. The driver, Wilbur, was amazing. We arranged a full day Sacred Valley tour with him and it was great that we arranged pick up in Cusco (we elusive had a hard time finding the lodge).
Cons: The firewood for our chimney and stove was not seasoned well and this caused a lot of smoke. You don’t need it the blankets are warm enough.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Warmly received by the wonderful hosts! The location is out of town a bit so a long walk or moto- taxi ride. The grounds are beautiful and very tranquil. We had a wonderful comfortable king bed. love the little kitchen but we never used since we were only there one night. Highly recommend this place for a quiet, tranquil stay.
Cons: I'm not sure what type of showers they were (gas or electric... guessing electric) but we could not take a shower as it was impossible to get a safe temperature. Was either way too hot or way too cold... a bit frustrating as we had been hiking all day long and really needed showers! It was quite chilly as well but there was a nice little wood fireplace that we made use of which was nice. I would suggest putting directions for the use of fireplace or light the fires for the guests as some people aren't aware of dampers! My partner had never used a stove like that and smoked us out a bit because he wasn't aware of the damper door in the pipe.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great tranquillity An oasis away from the tourist throngs Great value Excellent food Exceptionally welcoming staff
Hacienda Del Valle - Urubamba - Building
11
8.9 Excellent (352 reviews)

Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. 9.6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was a lovely spread with enough variety to suit all tastes. The property, while secluded, was a lovely, flowerfilled reprieve from the noise and traffic of most centres and was an ideal setting to recuperate after completing the Inca Trail. Urubamba, Ollantaytambo, the Cerveceria del Valle Sagrado and horse riding excursions are easily accessible: simply enjoy the 2 km walk through the village of Yanhuara to the busstop on the main road (5th Paradero) and hop the Combi for a few soles - no costly taxi required. Bonus feature of the property - two delightful resident alpacas! Excellent value in every respect.
Cons: Met or exceeded my expectations in every way.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Staff was mostly very kind.
Cons: The shower randomly stopped working at some points. Someone started burning crops the day we decided to stay in the hotel, so our room was suddenly covered by smoke and we had to get out. Food was too expensive.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Beautiful grounds but the room was cold. Heater did not work.
Cons: Preference given to larger groups. Service was inadequate.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful beyond any normal places including 5 star hotels. Inside and out it is just a matter of enjoying the moments of being and appreciating what others have done for guests.
Cons: Not being here sooner that last time three years ago and coffee in container to add hot water making as strong as one wants.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful spacious rooms! The property was awesome with water cascades all over. This hotel was a little off the beaten path but well worth the detour. I would highly recommend it!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful property and great rooms. The rooms are large and I think each has a balcony or small patio. Bathrooms were very nice too - it even has a bathtub with separate shower! Hotel staff was very helpful in getting me a taxi driver to drive me around all day.
Cons: The restaurant was ok. They might have been understaffed a couple of the nights I was there since it took over 40 minutes to place an order, and then another 45 or so before I got my food. Just something to keep in mind if you're in a rush. Location is a remote which I really liked, so don't expect to be within walking distance to any busy areas.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful grounds and spacious room. Nice hot showers.
Cons: Wifi and internet connectivity was a big problem unfortunately.
7.5 Good
Pros: The location is amazing. The view to the mountains and valley is breathtaking
Cons: The staff is not very flexible and accommodating. If you ask for something that is beyond their limits the answer is an immediate "no".

Cons: Was dark to go outside for a night walk and try some restaurant or just hang around town. However, food in the hotel´s restaurant was super good! One last thing, it takes some times to have someone answering the fix number phone. Dial mobile numbers better.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Plenty of water pressure+hot water, beautiful gardens, friendly staff, very clean and comfortable beds.
Cons: Two times we asked for a price-qoute on a taxi service. Both qoutes were unreasonably expensive. When leaving for Pachar (small village near Ollantaytambo) we got a qoute of 45 soles. I had previously asked a taxi driver in Urubamba how much it should be - maximum 20 soles he replied. We found a taxi ourselves, which was very easy, and paid 20 soles. Either they use the most expensive taxi service in Urubamba or take a comission for making the call. Either way it's ridiculous! We have stayed in other hotels in the Sacred Valley, but we have never experinced over-prices like that in any other places. Calling a taxi on behalf of tourists is a fairly basic service that should always be free. At least in a hotel where you have already paid a decent amount for the accomodation itself. Another minor thing. One evening we had dinner in the on-site restaurant. We had ordered three soups which we were told would be ready in 20 minuted. After approximately 40 minutes two soups arrived. The last one never came, and when we went and asked the kitchenstaff they looked at the order-note and realized they had forgotten something. Not a big deal, those things happen - I have worked in a kitchen myself. I do however feel an apology would have been appropriate.

Pros: Staff was very helpful, consulted for excursions and arranged most economical taxi services. The breakfast was great, eggs cooked to order plus fresh juices. The gardens are lovely and location convenient for nice evening walk!
Cons: Rooms were cold, unseasonably cold for this time of year but heater provided helped. No hot water was an issue. Property is working on a solution to this issue and the owner made every effort to ensure our comfort by offering her bathroom!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is the one of the most wonderful places we stayed at in the Sacred Valley. It is a converted monastery with beautiful gardens. Despite being so ancient, it has been renovated perfectly. The rooms are some of the nicest we found anywhere during a one-week tour of the area. You would pay twice this much to stay in Cusco for a room and hotel this lovely
Cons: Nothing. It was perfect.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The gardens were amazing, food was great and the pisco sour were tasty
5.4 Okay
Cons: Arrived there on 1 June and were told that we had to spend a night in another hotel of the chain as "there was no hot water in the hotel". We said that we were fine for the first night with not hot water instead of having to be moved around. The story then immediately became that "there was no water at all in the whole hotel". Bottom line we went to the other hotel (San Agustin Urubamba): cheaper and definitely less nicer. We found out that two couples of friends had already been staying there for few days and had not issues at all during the same days (they had booked directly with the hotel and not via booking). Another couple of friends arrived there on the same day as us (and had booked via booking.com) and was told the same but firmly pushed back on the move to the other hotel: managed to stay there and had no issue at all with water. In the other hotel we were referred to as the "guys from booking.com" which let you clearly understand what was going on. Find a place (another hotel) where you can arrive, feel welcomed and do not have to pack and unpack your stuff during a short staying while they move you around in their hotels probably only because you are a "guy from booking.com".
9.7 Excellent
Pros: The staff is very friendly and helpful. Very peaceful place.
Cons: Limited internet access from the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful breakfast
Cons: It was perfect
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very nice historic ensemble, gently remodeled. A quite oasis in Valle Sagrado. Good restaurant.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Gardens and building
Cons: DO NOT STSY HERE Upon checking out and explaining my terrible stay - I asked for a discount - no discount and then blackmailed by staff saying if I did not pay full price it would be taken out of their wages . Head office who refused the discount refused to speak with me - COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY. Where to start ! The place felt like a mortuary- empty, spooky, no atmosphere. Lucky if you found a member of staff within 15 minutes- staff doubled up as waitress in the restaurant Extremely disappointed - the property is being renovated so lots of noisy builders, painting outside my room the fumes made made me feel sick, master keys left outside my room on several occasions which made me feel vulnerable - no thought to security. The restaurant is odd, it opens at 2pm (once the staff have had lunch) menu is old fashioned and food is not good. The homegrown salad has tinned asparagus and artichoke nothing is homegrown. Crepes were rubber and cold - I believe the chef dislikes the job as nothing is prepared with love or any thought. Breakfast was ok (rubber scrambled eggs or deep fried omelette!) staff apologetic for no hot food ! Coffee disgusting- instant coffee was better ! I mentioned my concerns on a daily basis but obviously not listened to. If I had not been sick I would have moved hotel but due to illness could not
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What a beautiful place to stay! We loved the unique accommodations and setting. The food was amazing. It was a gem in our trip! Very peaceful!
Cons: The staff did not speak very good English so at times we had trouble communicating. The restaurant should open the doors for outdoor seating to take in that beautiful area!

Pros: It’s a beautiful little farm but it’s far away from the center and all the restaurants . It’s a bit uncomfortable at night to go out and eat . The breakfast is good and the stuff is nice. The shared bathroom is far from the room and they have only one bathroom for several rooms.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The bedroom is cosy, with a confortable mattress. Hanna is friendly and gave us good advices. The garden is nice, with a Hammoc, the sound of the water running and lot of plants. Hot water, splendid breakfast.
Cons: Dogs can bark at night sometimes.

Pros: Lovely breakfast! The hosts are really nice and helpful. It's a bit far from the center (still walking distance), but the place is peaceful with a nice garden. Good kitchen facilities. Big and warm room.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Off the highway, away from the tracks --- a difficult find in Urubamba. Beautiful gardens and patio. Lovely breakfast.
Cons: It's a little far to walk from the bus station, but the mototaxis get there well.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Such a great b&b, beautiful views of the mountains from our room, lots of sun, delicious breakfast, easy check in and Henna was a great host. 20min walk from bus terminal and central plaza. Would definitely come back!
7.5 Good
Pros: The place is beautiful, rooms are really comfortable and there is a kitchen.
Cons: The breakfast was small (1 egg, 2 piece of bread and half an avocado + butter/jam). I asked for an extra piece of bread of a fruit because I was still hungry but the woman said no. Also, I booked where it was not mentionned that the bathroom was shared. At the end, you have to go down the stairs to go to the bathroom and it's 1 for a couple of room so it might be crowded at certain hours.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Its every pleasent place. We really like the garden were we could hang around. The bed comfortable and the room are in good size. Hot Shower, Helpfull Staff Free and daily cleaning

7.5 Good
Pros: The property was very nice, clean, well manicured and visually stimulating. They had a couple of baby Alpacas on the property we got to feed at dinner time. Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly and assisted us in coordinating all transportation and really made that non stressful. the views are incredible all day and it is quite relaxing with the hammocks all around.
Cons: You’re land locked here with no options to walk anywhere. It’s fine for a single night stay but the restaurant on site is kind of mediocre and you have no other options for food. You’re stuck either paying 20 soles to go to a more populated town to one side or 30 soles to another town in the opposite direction. Not a big deal if you’re ok with paying and driving the 20ish mins each way.
