Would be happy to say something nice, but did not have any chance to experience.
The hotel provided incorrect information about parking availability and pricing. Our attempt to discuss the situation led to arrogant behaviour of the receptionist by the name Maia, and after her short discussion in Swedish by phone our rejection from the hotel to the street together with our teenage daughter. No apologies, no explanation, only statement that booking.com guaranties of room availability does not mean Scandic guaranty. It is something unheard of! Scandic Uplandia exceeded our worst expectation. Luckily right across the street there is Clarion hotel with friendly atmosphere and polite personnel. Thank you, Clarion, for giving us a shelter!

Central location.
Small room. No minibar. Very poor lighting in the bathroom (for those of us in need of doing makeup it is quite horrible).

The front desk staff were so friendly! They gladly spoke easy Swedish with me at my request since I am learning it, and they cheerfully dealt with my errors. This is very rare. The included breakfast was awesome.
