The fact that the property itself is "falling" on a slope of a valley which provides unparallel views of the forest lying in front of your eyes just as you arrive at the property. There is a small sign next to the main building on the left, like a sidewalk that you have to take in order to actually arrive at the location (this is more for the ones who arrive in the night, like we did, and the lights of the pathway were switched off - the switcher is on the right hand of the path, on the wall). But the windows are great and provide very nice views outside. You feel the nature in every corner there and the mini villas are charming.
The room is quite small and the linen and pillows were smelling like dust.
It is absolutely beautiful here - The scenery is stunning. Check in was very hard as there was no one there. We called a number that had been left on a sign. It took about 10 minutes before someone came to check us in. Sadly parts of the room were dirty which we only noticed when we got home that evening. When we got home after dinner we pulled the sheets back and there were stains all over the sheets. Half way through the evening the air conditioning also completely stopped working. We informed the hotel staff the next morning but they were rude and unhelpful so we left. Such a shame as it could have been a lovely stay.
Dirty sheets Broken air conditioning Slow check in Unhelpful staff
The setting is one of the most beautiful you'll ever see and the rooms have wonderful views.
It's just a little bit far from ubud centre which can be a hassle when it's raining or busy with traffic.
Loved the breakfast and waking up to this amazing view.
It is a beautiful property with great views over looking the canyon. Very green. Nice place to relax.
It was further away from everything. You will need a lift into town or rent a scooter. The place was nice, it could use a deep cleaning. Overall, I enjoyed my time here and the staff was very kind.
