There where record breaking summer temperatures during our stay, the only reason I didn't give this hotel a perfect score was because there was no air-conditioning at the hotel. Otherwise I can't fault our stay at this hotel.
Lovely staff, spacious room, pretty decoration, great breakfast. Good atmosphere.
The room would benefit from air conditioning.
The hotel was clean and modern and extremely popular with the locals. The room we had was small but adequate for our two night stay. There is a choice of two restaurants the beer garden serving reasonable quantity German food together with a more expensive up market restaurant. The breakfast was excellent with a wide selection of continental and cooked fareavailabe. The staff were friendly and helpful and there is onsite parking. The location is five minutes drive from the centre of Trier and not far from a well serviced bus stop
My only complaint would be on checkout was that I did not have sight of my bill prior to payment, which having paid my bill and then read it I found that I had been undercharged
The hotel is pleasant and comfortable. The rooms are clean. I liked the beer garden and restaurant downstairs and the sun terrace. The location is a bit outside the center but there's a bus stop just outside the hotel if you don't feel like taking a walk.
I found the standard room a bit small and a pity that there was no mini fridge in the room. Many rooms open to the parking lot side of the hotel where delivery trucks come early in the morning. If you have your window open (it's impossible not to with warm weather) then you do hear the noise.
The breakfast had a good variable choice. Room very clean and beds good size and comfortable.
