Pros: I stayed here with my husband and dog for 1 night and absolutely loved it, never been to Tours before but the hotel is perfectly located, 1 minute walk into the shops, cafes and bars, we arrived around 3pm so had a nice amount of time to explore the close surroundings. The hotel room was superb with the most comfortable bed and pillows I've ever slept on, we ate evening meal in the restaurant and it was fantastic, breakfast was great too, we didn't use the spa but it looks nice and the hotel has a beautiful bar area which allowed dogs too. Staff lovely and friendly and the pre-booked parking was easy - will definitely be staying again. From what we saw of Tours in our short stay we loved it.

Cons: The staff were unfriendly , the hotel was supposed to be dog friendly but we could not go into the bar , or conservatory with our dogs , we were only allowed to stay in reception area to have a drink and eat , myself and my wife sat on a table like to lemons , next to this table was formal seats and a table but we was not allowed to go there as there was a rug and dogs not allowed on rug or carpets in the hotel , not friendly at all I would not recommend any person with dogs to stay at this hotel .

Cons: - The noisy and shaky lifts - risky ! - No help and left in panic mode when lift got struck - unresponsive and arrogant GM / head as not bothered for 5 days even after complaining . - poor WIfi and no staff to rectify and standard answer for all issues - the staff will come and rectify as not there . - poor gym and I don’t know who has given them 4 stars with the two old non working machines kept as a show case there . - waste of money and spoiling the trip is all I can say

Cons: During my 1 (one) week stay at this hotel, nobody came to clean the room. I do not expect to have the towels or the bed sheets changed every day, but it seems to me common sense to have the garbage picked up at least once a week. This has not happened.

Pros: We slept in this hotel for just one night, on our way back from the UK to Bordeaux, were we live, and it surprised us how comfortable and clean the place is. Really comfortable bed, decent sized bedroom, clean bathroom and overall good price for the money we paid. Really enjoyed the buffet breakfast. There was plenty to choose from. The hotel is not very centrally located, but it is very close to the highway so if you need a place to sleep as a break from long drive this place is perfect

Pros: Free parking right outside or round the back of the hotel. TV, kettle and tea and coffee in the room. Comfortable bed. Bath and excellent shower. To walk into the centre of Tours takes about 30 minutes. Ideal for overnight stop. We did not have breakfast there so can't comment on that but dining room looked fine.

Cons: Drain smell downstairs but that may or may not be down to the hotel. Bit of a struggle with the language, would have been nice to have been offered a local map when we asked about the town centre distance.

Cons: The corridor on our floor had a strong smell of marijuana, the bar only sold unchilled white and rose wine and the room needed to be refurbished as was quite tired looking. Also thought breakfast at €16.00+ was overpriced so didn't have it.

Pros: Very quiet room and very clean. The staff were very friendly... as I stayed in the hotel on the first of Dec the hotel offered a Christmas calendar as a gift which was a nice gesture. The only drawback is that there was no toiletries in the room neither there were coffee, tea or kettle. Nevertheless, I would stay again in Ibis Tours centre gare but will bring toiletries next time

Pros: I liked most of all the location. Car parking was very close and convenient, as was ,location to the city centre. For train travellers the station and hotel are neighbours.. The young man on reception was particularly friendly and helpful but all staff I'm sure were equally willing. To sum up I would stay again.
