It was the cheapest hotel we could book online near Toronto, but that being said they actually charge up to $100+ per night if you book in person, so do not go expecting it to be cheap.
Smell of smoke and pee in room, prostitutes in the lobby and outside, manager knows them and calls them by name, underwear, mattresses and other garbage in the parking lot, office employee demands deposit and threatens to charge $150 for damage/smoking unless you pay with credit card (we had no problem avoiding the fee, but being welcomed that way is not welcoming), employee said they have no room and could not find our booking until we argued and showed two proofs of our booking, employee overheard telling others they have no more room, but then offering an additional room to a larger group that arrived and who were unhappy with the size of their room (he regularly lies to say they are full, but then suddenly finds more space). He was both unprofessional and unwelcoming, but also showed some kindness too (to be fair). Doing some research afterwards I found that prostitution is legal in Toronto, and this is an area known for that and drugs. Next time I should read reviews.
I did not like anything about this visit. The bed bugs and cockroaches, we were unable to stau the night. I would never stay here again not recommend anyone to stay here.
The bed was comfortable but the sheet we old and short. The carpet were old, dirty, and dusty. Some of the rooms had smoke even the towels. They did clean the bathroom and the toilet bowl had brown streaks going up and down.
I didn't like the fact there was only one microwave in the building that everyone used and it was dirty. Also one ice bin that everyone dipping their hands into.
