Good As A Last Resort
Check-in time was flexible (late night with a call ahead), while check-in itself was quick and straightforward.
Room was ridiculously hot, with no control of its setting. When we tried to call down to let someone know, we found that the phone didn't work (and, yes, it was plugged in). It was excessively noisy; it actually sounded like we were sleeping on a bench in a busy transit station... all night long, we could hear the 24-hour streetcars looping through and stopping outside our window (clearly hearing the automated announcements for the routes). Overall, the room looked 'adequately' cleaned, but did not really give a clean feeling (had dingy corners, a dusty bathroom, and an old-looking shower curtain). Some of the breakfast appliances (like the waffle maker) did not have the supplies to use it (like cooking spray) and basically ruined the food you were trying to make. It was a one-night stay as a stopover before a final destination, so, it served its purpose. My partner had to sleep with the covers off... and I just didn't eat breakfast. For the price, though, I don't think I'd stay again.
quick overnight only!
Proximity to my next day's venue
The area, the age and maintence of building was poor, for example window panes were missing in hallway windows on first floor, size of rooms were very small, not even a clock radio, the hair dryer was broken and when we reported this, it seemed like the clerk did not speak english anymore! I won't go on, but I also will not stay there again.
Location was the only plus to this hotel, but even that is pushing it. There was practically nothing to like.
Parking was four blocks offsite We're repetitively told the parking machine only took coins, so we need to pull of the atm for a four dollar charge and then there turned out to be credit at the parking machine Rooms were dirty, bathroom was disgusting. There was a pizza box in our tub when we first walked in. Front desk was no help with anything. Terrible place. DO NOT STAY HERE.
Doesn't honor cancelation policy
I scheduled a nights stay for sep 12-13. Called to cancel 24 hours before and they still charged me.. I have called numerous times and have been told that I would be refunded the money. Or I would get an email to refund my money. And yet I am still charged for not even staying the night. And canceling within the cancelation period.. Very unsatisfied. I
More "ho" than "jo"
