Cons: A few small things that can be improved:
1) in a five star Hotel I expect at least two free bottles of water every day
2) no Kleenex box in the bathroom
3) staff was overwhelmed during busy breakfast hours. Breakfast items running out fast and being replaced only very, very slowly and after asking for them.
4) staff answering incoming calls did not make any effort to locate us in the breakfast room when an international call came in for us.
As I said, nothing important, but should be improved.

Cons: Wine list in restaurant could be more extensive. We had a premium room which was well appointed except it would benefit from dispensing with the bidet and instead having a dedicated shower stall rather than an in-the-bath shower - there is room in the bathroom to include a separate shower if the bidet is removed. Finally - minor gripe - but the bar/breakfast room/main salon music is a compilation of covers well known songs - which were pretty much murdered by the cover artists - play the originals if you’re going to play anything!

Cons: When driving, hotel was very, very hard to find in oldest part of Toledo (took us 1-1/2 hrs.), with steep hills, one-way streets; people on the streets didn't know of the hotel, or didn't know where it is; or didn't know how to get there by car. GPS had nervous breakfdown. Parking in the nearby garage was expensive (17 euros/night). This was the only Spanish hotel of eight we stayed in that didn't have a computer for use of guests. They advertise a spa, but only a very small exercise room is available free to guests; you can pay for a massage or sauna.

Cons: At night the streets of Toledo are full of young drunk British men and or unemployed. It can be a bit sketchy there at night and you definitely have to watch your back. All the tourists leave during the day.

Pros: This hotel is so convenient place to short walk distance to major sites. If you drive a car, ask a hotel in advance which parking place to park the car. Hotel provided me a discount ticket for that particular parking. Stuff was so friendly. View from the top of the hotel was so nice. I will recommend to go to the roof to take a look.

Cafe next to hotel where you can eat a light breakfast if you do not fancy the hotel buffet or a quick tapas/beer at night. Staff very friendly and attentive. Traveling with small children, we would have prefer rooms with an adjoining door, but not sure they have them and hotel was pretty full ... nevertheless, rooms were next to each other and overall it was a great experience.

Cons: No food available on the 31st of December after 5pm. Nothing, not even a drink. Also only one staff member present 24 hours in busy hotel. The management should consider the guests even on NYE, or at least inform incoming guests more. The restaurant attached was also closed 1st January. Hospitality work includes unsocial hours.

You definitively have to stay in Hesperia, it is a nice hotel ! I did not try breakfast in the hotel. In the close neighborhood some bars offer a very good choice of real Spanish menus.

I don't mind these, I enjoyed my stay.

Cons: Very nice but not really a 5 star hotel imo. Strangely the hot water (or rather lack of it) was an issue both times we stayed there. Despite a beautiful and well equipped bathroom we had to run the hot tap at least 5 minutes before being able to run a bath which was barely more than tepid once filled. The kettle and coffee making equipment was placed, ready to use, on a large table in the lounge area of the suite. However there was no plug anywhere near the table to plug the kettle into! With a little more attention given to basics like this the hotel could be superb.

The room was truly spacious and had fantastic views of Toledo and Alcazar. Pros: The location was perfect in the downtown area The room was beautiful and spacious and very clean. Parking next-door was very easy, and was discounted from €20 to €14 for hotel guests. The front desk staff was very helpful in planning our tour through the city, as well as with any questions about our stay.

Pros: We had a corner room on the 2nd floor that gave us a great view of the plaza and a nearby street from our balconies. We especially enjoyed watching the people on the plaza going about their daily lives as well as the two demonstrations that took place during our stay. The hotel was conveniently located so we could walk to all of the attractions that interested us. The staff was friendly and helpful. They answered all our questions even though we speak no Spanish and they sometimes had to struggle to understand us.

Pros: Our room had a balcony and chairs with a view of the rooftops - great for a glass of wine. Beds were comfy and breakfast was plentiful. Room architecture felt medieval with the heavy wood doors and red accents, definitely fit Toledo! I would recommend this hotel.

Cons: Arnljótur Arnarson. We bought standard room with king size bed for 3 nights paying 90£ per night. Buying room in 4 star rated hotel you don´t expect to be put in a celler. In a room with small window faceing a wall. This room 114 should be priced down a lot. When we complain we were informed that the hotel was full, but we could try to talk to the staff the day after. In my opinion should the staff, if they care about their customer offer them to change roomms, and in my mind giving a discount, when they knew about our wish to change from this 114 celler room.

Cons: The hotel is tired and in real need of updating - I could hear my neighbours so the sound proofing was bad. Bed really uncomfortable and the food really no good at all. Never again - photographs shows a lovely luxurious hotel overlooking Toledo - totally far from it.

Parking can be in the hotel lot for a fee, or just park down the block at the public parking area. The residents do that and it very safe. Cons: Toledo is on a large hill. There are pedestrian escalators going into the old town. When they are out of service it is exceptional hard to get back down off the hill. Signage in the town is not that easy to follow and all but impossible at night. Obviously, this is not the hotels fault but is something the traveler should be aware of .

Pros: Dentro del casco antiguo pero con aparcamiento cerca. Cerca de bares y tiendas. A 5 minutos del Alcázar y del centro. Habitaciones amplias y cómodas con un baño individual amplio. Todo muy limpio.

Pros: Very convenient location, friendly staff, cozy big room and bathroom. Loved the welcome pieces from the bakery, also lovely packed! I'd definitely go back again.

Pros: Friendly helpful staff. Nice decoration. Good for walking.
Cons: Air conditioning didn’t work, and rooms were heated instead of cooled. The room was so hot that the windows had to be opened all night. When the staff member came to look at the temperature they had to take their jacket off because it was like a sauna. Main light in the room did no work on the first night. Parking is a long long way from the hotel. It is secure but expensive, and if you want to come and go more that once with the car each day you have to pay on every exit. Very hard to find using directions. Car park almost impossible to find with out finding the hotel first and asking them. The room was noisy throughout the night.

Cons: Nos tocó la habitación A-17 que da al mismo recibidor del hotel. No tienes mucha intimidad y se oye a la gente mientras que espera el chEckin. La hora de entrada es a partir de las 2, lo bueno es que si quieres te guardan las maletas mientras tanto.

Cons: I parked approx 30mts away & when I returned to my car the next morning it was covered in people “trash” & smeared with food & beer.
