Beautiful, secluded grounds close to transit and great food. Excellent location and all wonderful and friendly staff. Would love to return!
Fantastic property staff very helpful and friendly. Lovely room and breakfast. Private bath facility and free tea ceremony. A real taste of old Japan. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The Staff treat you like family. Its insane how friendly they are
The bath was clear, soft, hot, and relaxing, and made me feel very soft! The staff was very accommodating, especially considering our late arrival. And the food was delicious. The robe was lovely!
The room was very small.
The room was just squeezy with 3 people and 2 big luggage. The beds were Japanese styled so if you mind doing your own beds every night, it's probably not for you. Toilet was okay and fully equipped with amenities, though it doesn't have a bath and the usual Japanese bidet. But, you could enjoy their public bath for 500yen per session. It was relaxing after a full day of walking. The breakfasts they served were delicious, the price range is about 500-800yen per meal and their rice set is a must-try! There's also a Ministop nearby (1min walk). The only comments would be the location. It's quite a distance from Uguisudani Station (approx. 15-20mins walk) especially if you have big luggage. The Iriya Station was closer (2-4mins walk) and could connect you directly to several tourist spots like Akihabara, Ueno and Tsukiji Station. The transfer to Haneda Airport was breezy from Iriya Station as well. Overall, it was a nice stay.
