I have tattoos and was allowed to use onsen
Cleanliness. The service. The staff are very friendly even when they speak a little English they make sure you have a great stays. The atmosphere and the place. Like younhave your own japanese home! The public baths are also great (they have 2 kinds). I also got this souvenir as a gift from them (key chain with your name on it, I think its a nice gesture) Overall highly recommended
Place are a bit cramped but I guess its because of the single room. There's a curfew at 24:00.
The staff was amazingly kind and helpful. Japanese style Breakfast was delicious. Very clean and comfortable rooms!!
Great old traditional neighborhood of Tokyo. The hotel is very traditional, small spaces but very comfortable - you sleep on a futon on a tatami floor. There are 2 traditional 'shared' bath you can use with men and women hours, which is very relaxing. Breakfast is traditional of fish, seaweed, pickles, rice and miso soup - you need to be comfortable sitting on the tatami floor crosslegged.
This is my 2nd time here and my husbands 4th. Though a little more then we usually like to pay, we love staying here and would stay again for our next visit. The staff are just so lovely, helpful and accommodating. Both the stone and wood onsen are just beautiful, so look forward to this after a long day of sight seeing, and our room was lovely.
