Cleanliness, facilities in the room, the location, staff helpfulness, beds, shower bath and toilet facilities.
A gym would have been great.
No restaurant was a disappointment
Great location for shopping. In the heart of Ginza. Always my first choice for accommodation when visiting Tokyo. Staff are courteous. Checking in and out is always smooth and quick and with smiling faces from the staff, which I find very important when choosing a hotel. Love the very white, fluffy towels.
Tried the breakfast. It was OK but could be better. Hoping they provide another option for a firm pillow - they have 2 types: a very soft somewhat flat pillow and using that one pillow may seem like you are not using a pillow at all. Then they have a firmer buckwheat pillow which may not be a comfortable choice for some people due to the coarse texture when in need of a firm pillow
1. Towel is curved with something during laundry, looks not clean 2. The water boiler smells odd. It seems somebody ever cook noodle with it, and the hotel also did not find it and make it clean enough
Location is perfect, just across from Mitsukoshi. Room was comfortable. Separate shower, toilet and sink worked well for us so while one showered, another could use the toilet or the sink Hotel has no restaurant but there are many nearby cafes for breakfast. No long waits for the elevator. Taxis were readily available just outside the hotel. Umbrellas were offered whenever it drizzled.
The bathtub was in the same cubicle as the shower, and there was no space to move to dry oneself except outside the cubicle which meant you had to be in the bedroom to dry up. There should be more hooks in the shower/bath area Pillows could have been fuller and bigger. We were given two pillows, one very soft and the other a bit harder but it felt like there were bits of styrofoam in the pillow.
