I liked that i had a shower room in my double bed room. My friend and I were able to shower without having to pass into the common front area, so we both liked this a lot. A lot of people seem to be saying that its weird that the double room doesn’t include a toilet, but i find this is rather common while traveling Japan. Shared Bathroom was super clean and easy to find.
There was a bit of difficulty with communication over the phone, but in person he has a electronic translator that he uses to communicate. When in doubt use your google translate or whatever translator you use to talk with him and the staff.
Owner is very nice. Near train station. A lot of Korean restaurant.
Great location 5 minutes walk to Shin-Okubo stashion, clean, fairly spacious room by Japanese standards. Only 6 rooms so there is no problem with a shared bathroom. Perfect value for money
Close to train station.
Private bathroom is located outside the room. The room is a bit smelly due to the window is facing a kitchen.
Location was a near a major train station and the room was large.
One toilet per gender for 8 rooms, which was often dirty. No in-room sink or toilet. No lights on in the hallways, arriving in the evening, you enter a pitch black hallway with slow to response sensor lights, akin to a horror movie. Same for the halls once you reach the 3rd floor. No one at the check-in/check-out desk at all times, it seems that the owner only shows up for people's check ins and comes around only for check in time. Owner also goes into your room multiple times throughout the day to get to the balcony and moves things around the room, be cautious if you have any valuables, as this was not stated in the reservation that it would occur. Any solo travelers, be cautious, especially females. Owner seems to have some kind of attitude and was seen reprimanding other guests. The sarcastic responses to the Google reviews are unprofessional.
