It's, for its age, very clean, the staff are range from pragmatic to very friendly and helpful. Despite its looks, it is kept very clean and its location is pretty good to get around.
The place has probably not seen a makeover since the late 80s/early 90s, but once you get over how old everything looks and feels, it's all good.
Nice but small room with all you need.Very close to Sensoji Temple and the vibrant area around.
A little bit of strange smell in the room, maybe from the tatami.
Capsule experience, nice Japanese style bath. Friendly staff.
Very thin matrass in capsule, my back hurted. Not a good place to meet foreign solo travellers.
We were hosted in the 5 persons annex nearby the main hotel building. It's a very recent, clean and nice Japanese style apartment in a little street. Perfect for a family. We saw the staff only at checkin/checkout but they were very friendly.
Needed to book a bed last minute and found this place. A great value for a bed in a great area. Staff were kind and spoke very good English. Great location. Enjoyed being able to experience the shrine early in the morning and late at night with fewer crowds as I was coming and going from the hotel each day.
Bathroom was small (but this is typical for Japanese hotels) and the hallways/elevators were a bit dingy, but neither of these bothered me much.
