Pros: Superb. Everything was excellent. Food is good, but not exceptional. Breakfast could be better.

Pros: This hotel is just perfect. Unique location, right at the beach of Pipa, in the walking distance from best restaurants and city highlights. We loved the room from the view, swimming pool area, outstanding breakfast and complimentary coffee and tea in the afternoon. Wifi works even at the beach, green lizards only make this place more fascinating. People at reception are nice and they hold your luggage after check out.

Cons: Nothing to complain at all.

Cons: The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were too soft and needed to be stacked on top of each other if you wanted any kind of neck support throughout the night.

Cons: The dinner at the place was quite expensive and not very good. Too many bugs everywhere, even in the breakfast area : flies, wasps, bees, ants, among others. I got a lot of stings and bites

Pros: Absolutely gorgeous resort. Beautiful Chapadao views. So helpful staff. Relaxing and quiet atmosphere. Lush green environment. The private pool bungalow with the large bathtub and the spacious room was great.

Pros: Excellent staff and delicious food. Great sense of hospitality. We had a pool bungalow and it was stunning. Beaches are in walking distance and absolutely beautiful! We are comming back!

Pros: 5 stars all the way. This was our first time visiting the NE of Brasil and after much research, we settled on Bupitanga for our accommodations in the Praia de Pipa area. The grounds of Bupitanga are beautifully maintained and our bungalow was spacious, comfortable and impeccable. We loved sitting out on the patio every day hearing nothing more than the sounds of the breeze and nature. The staff was very attentive and warm. We received great recommendations for excursions and local fare. Special mention to the staff especially Aylton who provided us excellent service during our meals and had also gone out of his way to find a replacement nebulizer for our son very late at night. I also want to give my warmest appreciation to the Simonetti family (owners) for making us feel part of their family. I highly recommend this to anyone traveling to the Pipa area and we will surely return one day down the road.

Cons: Honestly, not much we didn't like. I made a recommendation to the hotel that they provide universal surge protected outlets in the rooms and AC in the bathroom as it gets fairly warm especially after a bath. Outside of those two very minor things, everything was as good as it can be. I want to reiterate that the bungalow was spacious, comfortable and impeccable.

Pros: Service and staff are great! The location is on the best corner of Pipa, quiet and secluded... Pipa itself is already quite calm ( off season) the hotel is even quieter.. one can hear the birds and the sea... Landscaping is outstanding, so well taken care of... It's an experience on its own... Hammock hanging in the veranda is the perfect place to spend the evening... It was absolute bliss!

Pros: Great spot, lovely helpful owners. I would recommend this spot for sure. Only two steps from the center of Pipa and a few more from the beach.

Pros: The inn is just great! You can count on its staff, it has a good breakfast, good location and a very relaxing pool area!

Cons: If your room is close to the reception, you will probably hear some noise caused by the breakfast staff or by other guests waiting for their partners.

Pros: The nicest hotel we had in three weeks of holiday! Breakfest great, room with good beds and very clean. Swimmingpool the best. Also the location is directly in the centre, without any disturbance.

Cons: Only thing we can think of is that the bar at the swimmingpool was closed just the two nights we stayed. Told us the staff had to work overtime the days before.

Pros: Great spot! The location is perfect as it close to the beach, downtown and the bus stops. It was nice to wake up every morning to a beautiful breakfast, friendly and helpful staff and a pleasant garden surroundings. We'd come back for sure.

Cons: The music from the gym across the street was a bit noisy, but no big deal.

Pros: Excellent breakfast with tapioca, omelete, grilled cualho cheese done while you wait at the table. Staff ultra-friendly and location could not be better to explore all sides of Pipa. Loved it! Will come back :-)

Cons: The location of the hotel, at least the road leading to the hotel is a bit dodgy, but the conditions are really good and the staff were very kind and very pleaseant. The net beds on the balcony are a must!

Pros: The staff provided some excellent information about the area and things to do. They event set up our first expedition and it was fantastic. The staff was friendly and always willing to assist!

Cons: The rooms are drab and need some artwork on the walls, a very plain space.

Cons: Strangers parked their cars on the street, blocking the entrance and the way out of the hotel.

Cons: People talking and moving furniture pass 11pm. The location is terrible. We have to use a very narrow street to get to the place. Plus, they park other car in front of ours. If an emergency happens during the night you are stuck there.

Pros: Amazing beach-front location. Super-friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are basic and cleaned everyday. A member of staff always available. Security is excellent including a member of staff at reception throughout the night. On one occasion I left my sunglasses lying around and a member of staff returned them to my room before I'd even realised I'd misplaced them. There was a minor issue with the 'Aircon' and it was addressed immediately. The staff were so good I 'miss them' which should indicate how friendly and helpful they were. 'If you are English-speaking then learning basic Portuguese will certainly help.

Cons: There is nothing that I didn't like although a 'security safe' in room would've been useful.

Pros: Very cozy environment felt like I was at home. It’s a 10 minute walk from an incredible beach and to an amazing healthy restaurant. Everyone working at the place were lovely and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Cons: If you don’t have a car it might be hard to get to places, but if you enjoy a walk by the beach it’s a perfect place.

Pros: This place is a true gem, I highly recommend staying here! The pousada is located close to beautiful Praia de Pipa and Tibau do Sul and is the perfect romantic getaway! It is outside the two towns, and thus wonderfully calm and romantic place, with an amazing garden and relaxing pool area! We had a whirpool just outside of our room, which was perfect for relaxing. It is located a short walk to Tibau do Sul, and a short ‘dolphin’ bus ride to Pipa. The bus ride is maximum 10 minutes to Pipa, and the buses literally stop every 5-10 minutes in front of pousada, cost only 3 Reais per person; and all drivers know where is this pousada. The pousada is close to a beautiful Praia Cacimbinha which is a very beautiful and calm beach with not so many tourists, and from which you can get a wonderful view to Pipa. The room was very clean and quite large, with very beautiful furniture and lots of books, and the air-conditioning worked great. The owner Mr. Felipe and all staff, especially Antonio, were incredibly nice and kind, ordered pizza for us, had great advices on what to see… and always had a smile on their face. The breakfast was excellent, with a lot of different choices of juices, joghurt, coffee, bread, cake, cheese, ham, fruits… and tapiocas were made on spot (and were very tasty!). The price-quality ratio is super, as it is still very close to Pipa and all beaches, but you get a lot of peace and quiet to enjoy! Pousada is really beautiful, there are a lot of trees and little streams with fish in the garden. Pousada is also very animal-friendly, as there is a sweet doggie Pipa, who guards pousada and a super friendly marmoset monkey group that jumps happily around. My partner and I really really loved the place, and cannot wait to come back here again, hopefully very soon! Thank you for a wonderful week!

Cons: The shower didn't have a curtain nor a box, and the water would go everywhere. Not much stuff in the minibar, water only, and it was charged. Since they charge for the water, they could add some beers and soft drinks.

Cons: - It is a residential compound (not a hotel or resort) checking in office is outside the compound’s fence which is a few minutes drive from the building. - Flooded dirt road which is really hard to cross for cars & pedestrian. - Claiming many stairs to get to the bedroom & more harder with heavy luggage (no elevator). - No internet (WiFi) did not work at all, we called the receptionist the first minute got to the suite and she said it is a common issue but she would send the technician who we did not see until checked out. - Charged R$30 for cleaning & never seen the housekeeping! - The office was closed when checked out so we had to look for a staff member to give the key.

Pros: The apartment was spacious, new and clean. Everything you could need for a longer stay. The pool looked inviting but we did not use. The bed was comfortable and breakfast (extra) was very good. We checked out at 11am, went to the beach and returned about 5pm... we asked if there may be a place we could take a quick shower before departing and they graciously let us use a shower in the reception building.

Cons: The check-in/out process seemed a little unorganized. There are 2 gates... we checked in at one and were supposed to go to the other one to checkout. The vehicle entrance is around the corner and a few streets down (not marked). The location is within walking distance to the main street and a beach, although the road in front of the hotel is very busy and narrow (2 way traffic on a street wide enough for one car. There was info breakfast options but it did not explain how to order it or where to go. After several calls to the reception breakfast was ordered and delivered to the room. Luckily my girlfriend is Brazilian and handled all of this in Portuguese, I don't think I could have managed it without her!

Pros: Beautiful property with an amazing vibe, the pool was super clean and very nice. Apartment fully equipped.

Pros: Pool, music, breakfast, restaurant´s food, staff, cleanness, transport, everything was perfect. A friend recommended to us, and we are very happy about our choice. Pipa Lagoa it´s okay for couples and for families. You will feel very disconnected from reality.

Pros: Very spacious with pool access right at the back door of every villa. Walking path to the cliffs for an incredible view. We had some issues with one AC unit and the staff was wonderfully responsive and fixed it right away. They followed up on the repair to ensure it was still working. Great place for families.

Cons: Wish there were more towels. And I would caution families with very small children about the stairs leading up to the next level of the villa - they are steep and have areas a very small child could slip through. But I don’t know if all the villas have the same design. Regardless, an incredible place to stay!

Pros: The staff were extremely helpful. They went over and beyond to meet your needs and help any way they could. I loved the pool that you literally walk off your porch into. Overall very beautiful and comfortable.

Or More restaurants within walking distance... also they could offer more toiletries; shampoo and conditioner is usually expected, however they were not replenished here. Finally, the shower pressure was acceptable but could definitely be stronger

Pros: Very quiet and spacious property. Staff was very helpful and polite. The front desk and the bellboy were great.

Cons: I found two cockroaches in the kitchen cabinets (pics). Also, any food left anywhere downstairs was full of ants in minutes. Urgently needs deification.

Pros: Awsome place, great pool even we preferred going to the beach. Friendly staff always willing to help and advise. The 3 level apt was great, downstairs the living kitchen and Tv with small bathroom, second level te 2 suites and tip level a nice porch to checkout the sunrise and sunset.

Cons: Not only this Hotel but several others nearby have this steep street that to get to central shops and beach two blocks away it’s very struggling for people with knee or issues going uphill or downhill uneven surface street made with blocks of rock. But if your fine with that is a good workout after a big dinner !!

Pros: Magnificent ocean view. Spacious room and ample hotel area. Many scenic little details like a swing overlooking the ocean and the wellness area.

Cons: Be prepared for 3 pages of rules and fines. the obligatory wrist band is the most obvious (taking it of is a fineable offense). This is for safety reasons, accept that there is no security other than an intercom operated door.... A contract for breakfast and the borrowed umbrella all give a feeling of overregulation. Ignore everything and you will probably be fine, it's still Brazil after all.

Pros: Nice place. May be even ideal for couples. But to my surprise there were lots of babies!!! Free entrance for kids to another next facility with lots of fun games and entertainment. Excellent food!!!

Cons: No good light for bed reading. Kitchen almost empty, you can make breakfast but not lunch/dinner (no cooking elements). A pipe broke, the bathroom wet, I wet, my husband wet. We run to reception, they sent someone to fix it immediately. No one came to clean the mess or apologize for the inconvenience. I left the key and told the receptionist at least to change the towels but no response from anyone. Did not expect that.
