10.0 Excellent
Pros: beautifully decorated and it had a Samsung laptop/ipad so we could also watch Netflix
Cons: a little bit noisy as it is in the heart of town and my bedroom window was over the street part
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect and beyong my expectations
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The ambience was exceptional with attention to detail noted all around. It was a peaceful and spa like atmosphere guiding you into a spirit of relaxation. The room was well designed and comfortable and the Hermès bath products delightful to the senses. The breakfast spread on the terrace was delicious. The location could not be beat with short walk from the Port, the beach and in city center near shopping and restaurants.
Cons: The need to check in by 11:30 or incurring an extra charge could be difficult for some traveling from Tangier or other cities especially if the room is not ready at that time.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful, quiet & great location in the heart of Tarifa. The staff is great, and breakfast is wonderful- served on one of their 2 terraces. The rooms are very small, but clean. The ambience is great & wonderfully unique.
Cons: The bed is on the softer side but comfortable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Riad had a wonderful ambience & the decor oozed Moroccan chic, a nice juxtaposition of simple design interspersed with lovely collectibles. The unexpected surprise of having the contents of the bar fridge if we chose to avail ourselves of this generous bonus, was a treat. The rooftop breakfast was healthy, ample & had plenty of fresh & homemade options. Again, the rooftop ambience made it a place where you’d want to linger.
Cons: If we’d been able to stay longer.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I’d like to say the environment as it was absolutely blissful and stunning, however the girls working there were so amazing! Incredibly helpful - we had a few challenges with a parking ticket and flight cancellations and they couldn’t do enough to help us
Cons: Minor - but the set up in the bathroom wasn’t practical, after a shower everything was soaked and took hours to dry out
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfy beds, staff recomendations for local restaurants and genrally helpful.
7.9 Good
Pros: Staff were superb. Location was great. Easy to get by.
Cons: Bath in room had no curtain or shower screen. Toilet had non ventilation hence smells drifted into room. Unpleasant.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely everything - this is a purely zen paradise. From our room we could hear waterfall sounds and a variety of calming, meditative music. The staff were equally amazing - all so helpful and bubbly. My partner and I both speak Spanish but they made a very conscious effort to communicate in English for us.
Cons: Nothing!! Faultless :)

Pros: The super friendly staff,so helpful with every aspect of our stay. Went above and beyond to include gluten free bread in the fantastically fresh and delicious breakfast. Extremely comfortable large bed, very peaceful night's sleep. Excellent bar and seating outside in picturesque alleyways.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: nice, in the old towm
Cons: too expensive for the offered total packages
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel, nice seating area outside, fantastic location, central to everything.
Cons: Bathroom a little small but can't be helped as it is an old town building, beautifully maintained which main up for that.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful boutique hotel in a wonderful location. The bed was super comfy and the spa robes provided were a nice touch. The staff was friendly and helpful when we had questions about taking the bus to the Malaga airport. Would absolutely visit again!
Cons: The water pressure in the bathroom sink was unpredictable and the doorways were quite low.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A hidden gem nestled in the quaint streets of Tarifa! Very very comfortable beds.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a cozy hotel with a great location to port, restaurants, and shopping. But what made it the best was the reception we received from Zina, the clerk. She was helpful and informative. A keeper for any employer. Additionally, the hotel kept our luggage all day while we visited Tangier. A definite place to return, again and again.
Cons: That I could not stay another day,
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The quality and decoration of the room and the whole hotel is very elegant. I loved all the Moorish influences. I always would like to say the staff are excellent both Isabella and Zena were both really helpful. The buffet breakfast choice was extensive and good value for money. Would definitely stay there again. X
Cons: Nothing apart from finding parking near by which can be challenging. Park on the way in to Tarifa and walk down the hill.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Lovely small hotel and wonderful staff. A true gem of a hotel. Tucked down cobbled alleyway from the busy street. Perfect location and everything is within walking distance.
Cons: The only thing I can say is that when someone uses the shower next door you can hear all the water pipes in your room but it wasn't a big issue.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely little property, right in the middle of the Old Town, surrounded by tiny quiet alleyways. Great welcome, clean room with many authentic touches.
Cons: The photo with the details is misleading, this is not a beachfont property. Access with luggage is not easy, as cars cannot approach close to the property
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The buffet breakfast was fresh and continually replenished. The bar was cosy and beautifully decorated. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The location was perfect (though hard to find!)
Cons: It was a bit noisy outside at night.

Pros: Tarifa Kite Hostel is one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. The staff are super friendly and helpfull - this place sure feels like a home away from home. There is a nice community garden where you can hang and meet other travellers. The location couldn't be better and the kitchen facilities were both great and clean. My best recommendations!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Well, not every day you meet a person like Fernando. He will give you all the information you need with a smile. There is good energy in this hostel, I really enjoyed spending my day talking to other guests, going to the beach and eating together. There is a very nice terrace to sit outside . I'm sure I'll be back!

6.7 Good
Pros: The staff was so helpful and nice always, but the bathroom could be a little more clean ;)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I had a great time at the Tarifa Kite Hostel. The best part were actually the people I met from everywhere. They made me feel at home. Also the big area to meet, relax and to cook was nice. I wasn't there for kite surfing but for surfing (and enjoy the beautiful city). They always had a look for me if there will be good conditions to go surfing. A big compliment to the staff - they really take care of you and your wishes and put a lot of effort in making you feel comfortable. I totaly recommend this hostel, it's amazing! I'm sure I'll come back some day to learn kite surfing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff is very friendly and helpful. The place is closed to the city but you feel like in a hub. The garden is quiet and nice to relax. The evening meals are amazing and really bring everyone together. The hostel is very clean. A great place to stay for solo travellers and friends. There is storage facility for kite gears and water to rinse equipment. Thank you Tarifa kite Hostel I had an amazing time.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good location close to the old town and 15 min walk to the beach. Staff was great; Ricardo spent at least 15 mins talking me through all the great things to do in Tarifa, amazing! Very easy to meet people. They organized a BBQ night. The hostel was always spotless clean.
Cons: People in the dorm were being very noisy even after midnight. They keep switching up the light and talking even though they were people sleeping.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The friendly staff, the chilled vibe and the location news great! Was also very clean
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The people and community feeling of the hostel is amazing. When you travel alone you feel more welcome if the staff and people actually like to talk to you and also the beautiful hostel made my stay incredible.
Cons: nothing to complain about! All in all an amazing experience where I made great friends.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Luisa was most helpful in all aspects of our stay and the rest of the staff made it a perfect team!
Cons: Personally I like blackout curtains
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is small and beautifull. We had a black and white room. Good bed. Perfect shower. Nice and clean. Very good breakfast. Louise informed us about tourist attractions and perfect spots to go on the beach. Nice walking in town near the harbour.
Cons: Nothing
7.9 Good
Pros: Location was very central, which did mean it was noisy during the night.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Stylish, original, quality breakfast, very helpful manager
Cons: Everything about the property was great - the only problem for us was the noise throughout the night - but that’s the price you pay for being in the centre of the old town.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: It's so friendly a hotel. Location is perfect and the quirkiness of the design is great
Cons: The room we chose was very very dark and potentially needs a re-paint in some areas where it looks like damp. It was very comfortable though and Luisa did offer another room but we chose without seeing so it was totally our choice. Would come back
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable bed. Central location. Very nice breakfast. Very clean & Louisa was always helpful & friendly.
Cons: There was nothing we disliked, but room could have with a couple of clothes hooks.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great place, beautiful. Luisa is super friendly and helpful anytime.
Cons: Bit noisy as people party nearby.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked Everything. The location, the breakfast, the lovely Luisa, the room. Most of all the city, which was breathtaking. This place is a real hidden gem. Highly recommended.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Loved the decor and location. Luisa was outstanding!
Cons: Nothing - all good
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location is right in the old centre, so for somebody who wants to be right in the middle of all the "action" the location would be appropiate.
Cons: The noise at night is unbearable. The fact that they put earplugs in every room says enough. The bed is incredible soft, I guess some people like that but we didnt . Parking near hotel was impossible-guess you cant blame the hotel for that though-every hotel in tarifa old town will have the same problem We had the "colour room"which wasn't stylish at all, quite cheap material used throughout in the room. Bathroom : every time you showered the water runs into the room. Breakfast: not impressed at all, you could have toast with butter, marmalade, tomatoes and some ham,and some dry cakes, and that was it. A smile at breakfast from personal serving you would have been nice too .-) All in all not impressed at all and wont be back there-dont get why so many positive comments, maybe their room was better, maybe we are more "spoiled" travelers. Tarifa is a nice little town to spend a few days but next time will be staying elsewhere.

Pros: The location was great. The property was very clean.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location is amazing just at the entrance of the old town, and few minutes walk from the harbor. Jesus is a very kind host, ready to explain you anything about the wind and his city. He also gave us good tips for restaurant.
Cons: The property is located right next to a big road and the windows don’t really help to close out the noise in the night. It is not going to change much my positive feedback, as everything else was just fantastic, but if I had known about the noise, I would have payed a little more in order to be on the other side of the property which is facing to the old city
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Perfect central location. Clean, comfortable, good value for money and done our in a fitting Moorish style. Host, Jesus is really friendly and helpful and ordered me a taxi for the airport. A cheap and cheerful base from which to explore Tarifa.

Pros: Lovely and clean. Very friendly staff. Great location. Discount card for the hotel's bar and restaurant.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Position in the centre of the old town and the fact that it was 4 minute walk to the ferry for us, was excellent. Had front room overlooking street ... gorgeous. Restaurant downstairs for dinner and breakfast had a great atmosphere.
Cons: That we only had one night there
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Junior Suite was perfect to retreat to and staff were exceptionally welcoming and helpful
Cons: There was a lingering bad smell in the bathroom for a couple of days which we could only disperse by leaving a windows open constantly- not ideal in such a windy place.
7.1 Good
Pros: The waiting staff are not friendly. When I asked for a seat outside I was told it was only for eating not drinking. As a resident that is not good. The Airconditioning in the bedroom was very weak!! Not enough power to cool the bedroom so neither of us got any sleep
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was fine. Like a lot of Spain there tended to be a problem with flies around the food. I am not sure what all they could do about that, however. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel and city was a great jumping off point for our day trip to Tangier, Morocco. Around the corner from the hotel, headed toward the Port, might be the best gelato I had in all of Spain. It was from a very non-descript looking little hole in the wall place about 100 feet from the Misiana.
Cons: They wouldn't let us take anything, even an apple, with us after breakfast. The town is really geared to the younger, windsurfing set, who seem a little snobby toward older folks
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very nice. Place is clean. Food is lovely and great tapas. Breakfast was great value. Location is perfect.
Cons: The accommodation is clean, however when they clean the rooms there is a heavy smell of bleach in the room which is not nice.

7.9 Good
Pros: OK for one night stay. Nice pool area. Breakfast selection was good and rather wide.
Cons: The bed was too soft and uncomfortable, it really needs to be changed. You have to keep in mind, that although it seems to be close to the beach, you actually cannot walk there. To reach the beach you need to tale short drive.

Cons: Bed wasn't the best.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast.
7.9 Good
Pros: The rooms are simple but very clean and you get all you need. I could see many improvements in rooms and in the garden area comparing to my previous stays at this place so really nice to see the hotel working on getting things better.
Cons: Breakfast is the only thing that could has a room for improvement. Not only the choice of food but overall arrangement and food presentation needs some work. The breakfast room (indoor restaurant area) has very old and dark decor. I like the old, traditional idea for the decor but it's way too dark and it feels like lots of random objects were thrown in there without any particular concept and design.

Pros: Good location, good bed, plenty of space for clothing etc.. the studio looks very quaint and cute.. lovely shower. also a fruit basket and beach towels were available. lovely service.
Cons: bathroom has no ceiling, so no privacy when going to WC , room above the front door VERY noisy at night, it seems to be slammed shut all night !! so had very little sleep sadly, check out at 11.00h which is a bit early if you wish to enjoy your breakfast since it is a STUDIO, not a hotel room. also there is a table missing to enjoy a snack..

Pros: Wonderful ambience. Newly decorated while maintaining some historic originality.
Cons: As an American with limited Spanish, communication was at times difficult.
9.6 Excellent
Cons: Driving was the only way to get there, or from thereto anywhere else. We liked the beauty and restfulness enough to a point where we only slightly missed our evening walks. Although we did not go to Tangier, it did seem that many other guests there did.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The rooms and the hotel was very nice
Cons: The breakfast wasn’t included

Stroll from the guest house into the historical centre of Tarifa, enjoy a coffee on the terrace of one of the numerous bars, before doing some sightseeing in the fascinating, winding streets of this Andalusian town. Tarifa's beach is also just a short walk from Hospedaje Facundo, allowing you to return to the guest house to escape the mid-afternoon heat and enjoy a siesta. Dine out in one of the many excellent restaurants in Tarifa in the evening, but enjoy a drink in the on-site bar first, and chat with friends or fellow guests.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Clean & comfortable room.
Cons: Strange key return policy. I was admonished for not being able to find my receipt given to me with the key, making my €20 deposit return more difficult. Made me wonder if this is to counteract the prevalence of people stealing keys and returning them for deposit.
7.5 Good
Pros: The position
5.4 Okay
Pros: Location was good, room was clean. Good as for hostel
Cons: Check-in and communication with reception took some time. Very hot in the room and no availability to make it more fresh. Door locker was very poor and unreliable. Shower too small for feet for man
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We had organised two single rooms. One was quiet with a window to an inner terrace, the other with street views (very noisy). Rooms were comfortable enough for a short stay (3 nights) as you are exploring most of the day anyway. We found parking easily around the hotel every day! Loved that there was a sink in each bedroom even though the facilities were shared.
Cons: Door handles cannot turn from the outside without the key so be prepared to wake up when people come home at 4am and then again around 6-9am when people leave and cleaners come in. My sister's room got flooded one night as she was near the first-floor bathrooms and the water spilled out. They did come immediately and clean it up though.
6.7 Good
Pros: Easy location for the ferry.
Cons: Quite expensive for one night
7.1 Good
Pros: Location was good. The kitchen was clean and well equipped. Staff pleasant
Cons: Rooms were however very basic, internet connection was only available in public areas.
6.7 Good
Pros: Near with beach and puerto.
Cons: It’s to pricey, a simple room for 30 euros? It’s not okay!
5.0 Okay
Pros: It was just the right size for me the room and it was very clean. And also smelt clean. The staff at the place were very helpful and kind.
Cons: The bed was not that comfortable.
7.9 Good
Pros: It had a communal kitchen
Cons: Room was a little small
