Very nice staff and the hotel is very clean. Location is convenient.
Hotel is very nice and location is super. The hotel staff is very helpful and friendly. We had a pleasant stay there.
I liked the size of the room -I had a ladies room and the seemingly endless supply of cosmetics. I liked being able to open the window as it is so much more comfortable than being sealed in a room like some other chain hotels. The location was good for shopping but on balance I would prefer to stay by the station and the port.
I have stayed in other Daiwa Roynet hotels which have had good restaurants on site for example Vietnamese in Nagoya and Kyoto and Italian in Matsuyama. This one didn’t have a restaurant on site but instead a breakfast place just downstairs in the shopping centre which didn’t seem to be open in the evening and had very little variety. The approach to the hotel wasn’t very nice with people using the lift to get to the car park. On check in there was a hair in my basin and in the bath which was off putting and two days later I found a cheap ring under the desk in my room. I forwarded my luggage but no one told me it had arrived.
Clean and functional hotel well located to city center and not too far from ferries to Naoshima (quick bus).
Limited English communication and lengthy check-in/out process.
Location and facilities - excellent access to shopping and restaurannts
