A full Cornish breakfast is served, along with fresh kippers and smoked salmon with scrambled eggs. Portmellon Cove Guest House is around 7 miles south of St Austell, with Fowey and Truro both just over 30 minutes’ drive away. Newquay’s Fistral Beach and the fine restaurants of Padstow are 45-50 minutes away on Cornwall’s northern coast.
