Best hotel in Springfield for the money
Clean, quiet, comfortable and very good price. Rooms are always very clean.
Very friendly staff. Great breakfast
Do they recycle the soap?!
Location and breakfast were good. Staff was courteous and responsive.
Fold out couch was horribly uncomfortable and there was no bedding for it in the room. I had to go to the front desk to get it. Also, the soap bar from the last guess was still in the shower. Ew.
Nice room and bath
The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The breakfast was just ok. The biscuits and gravy were good but the potatoes were raw and the sausage seemed like it needed to be browned a little more. We will stay here again but likely eat breakfast out.
Not the hotels fault but the construction in front of the hotel makes access difficult.
Bang for the buck
1. Rooms were spacious and clean 2. Hotel staff were so friendly 3. Breakfast was decent. Quantity and quality both were good
1. Either the walls were super thin or the couple in our neighboring room have really not done it in forever. But, you can hear almost everything.
All the amenities were included in the room and full breakfast. Clean and comfortable.
The breakfast was nice, however, with a little effort in preparation, it could have been really good. Train whistle was a little bothersome.
Good location. Easy fast check in. Room was nice and very clean. Breakfast was good and available early. Price was super.
Shower curtain needed replacement.
For me, this location was perfect. It was right off the interstate highway so that was nice.
Water softener needs to be added for the shower because long haired people will be happier. Also the wifi was down while we were there so that was unpleasant.
Very nice, excellent value for the price
As nice as most hotels over$100 per night
One of the wash cloths was pretty heavily stained. Not dirty, just stained. I just set it aside, the next day it had been replaced with a new one. Only downside for families would be no indoor pool.
Very friendly staff and at other hotels I have spent twice as much and got half the value. I will use Greenstay again.
Good place to stay, friendly people, I do not regr
PROS: Very friendly people Accommodations Free breakfast Free Wifi Convenient location Safe area High ceilings Large room Mini fridge & microwave in room TV in room (didn't use it though) Free use of washer and dryer (pay for soap or bring your own) Style and decorations Can't hear neighbors Pool Fitness room Environmentally friendly if you care about that sort of thing Flexible policy on extending stay Plenty of parking It is worth noting that the construction is now complete and I did not experience any construction noise. The place looks very beautiful and classy and modern. The people are super friendly and I was able to easily extend my stay immediately just by asking the front desk. THey accidentally charged me a few dollars too much on one of the days inconsistent with the others, but when I pointed it out they immediately fixed the issue happily. I was very pleased with my stay. Even though it was expensive like all hotels are expensive, it wasn't on the high end because there are many hotels twice the price even in this town. The value was very high and it is more value than some of the other cheap seedy motels. It is also very safe here. I accidentally left my car door unlocked one time, and nothing was stolen. However I still recommend to lock your doors, because that is a smart thing to do. I just forgot by accident, but the point is that it is relatively safe. I felt comfortable walking in and out of the hotel and the receptionists wave and smiled to me every time I walked in or left.
CONS: Train noise, hard to sleep (I am a light sleeper) Itchy sheets (could be the chemicals because I have sensitive skin) No available outlets next to bed (I used an extension cord to the other side of the room instead) I did have a hard time sleeping here, partly because the sheets were itchy and partly because of the train noise. I was able to get to sleep when I turned on a youtube video of the ocean noise. However it was not bed bugs, I think it was just the chemicals they used because I have very sensitive skin.
It was great.
Everything was great for a one night stay.
Only downside would be a late breakfast.
