We really liked the view from our room.
The room didn't deserve 4*. The mattress remembers my grandmother. The shower's "hottest" temperature was so mild that my children were shivering with cold. The chemicals in the whirlpool smelled very strong. The worst thing was breakfast. The staff were playing very loud music, but the most offensive aspect was yet to come. When I politely asked whether they will please refill the scrambled eggs, they politely said yes. When the eggs arrived, one staff member, a young boy, said: "Luckily the hotel is not full of Czech people, otherwise they would need to make 10 000 eggs per day. Look how hungrily they are already looking." I was standing right behind and I found this remark extremely offensive and not suitable for a 4* type of accommodation. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.
All over It’s not living up to the price. A cold pool, very bad common areas. As an early riser it’s very disappointing that there where no place to sit with light.
Swimmingpool for kids is super, gym for additional workouts ok, you can play kicker, pool Billard and table tennis
Breakfast could be more various, if something got empty it wasn’t refilled (one morning no orange juice, the other morning no salami, ...) Hot water for shower only before 17:00 o’clock - from about 18 - 20 the warm water boiler is busy and water is more or less cold! Actually it’s not a bad hotel but for 4 stars, there are missing the small and big details.
On one hand, we liked the hotel and the breakfast was very delicious. The swimming pool was great and also the sauna and jacuzzi, even though not all the bottoms wokred by the jacuzzi.
On the other hand, the rooms were quite small and there was no winter service in the area near by the hotel, so you need a cross country vehicle or a SUV with an all-wheels drive to be able to get to the hill where the hotel is. Instead of the town doing the winter service, you have to bring your snow chains for the wheels, which is compulsory in this area. The hotel tidys up the snow near by the hotel only in the morning. When we asked the receptioniest after skiing in the afternoon, if they were about tiding up the snow because we could not get with our car up to the hill, we were just said that they did it only in the morning. So it seems that no matter that it snows the whole day long, this is your problem how you get up to the hill with your car after skiing! We could only borrow a shovel and we had to tidy up the snow on the hill on our own, which took us more than 2 hours to be able to get to the hotel with our car. This is absolutely no go that we had to do it on our own! They should be able to tidy up the snow also in the evening when it is snowing because they even had a little snow-clearer vehicle that they used in the morning! When you are in the Alps, you also get to the hotel and to the ski slopes without any problems because there is the winter service and this place is already as expensive as Alps, so there is enough money for winter service for sure....then, our room was on the side of the hotel, where the entrance was, so we heard people talking outside at night which woke us up and probably the baker comes between 4 and 5 o´clock in the morning, who also wake us up because we could hear everything happening in front of our hotel at night...
