This is one of the most unique hotels that I have ever had the experience of visiting. The history of the property is fascinating - originally part of the White Star Line, to whom the Titanic belonged. The staff could not have been any more accommodating! This hotel is a keeper!
Nothing
Exceptionally noisy. Dirty linen. Had to go and find the receptionist in the bar. I cannot fathom how this place managed to get a 5 star rating. Perhaps I should have been warned by the "tavern" in the name.
It was extremely handy for accessing our cruise ship at Gate 4 and served our purpose very well.
Not quite the traditional hotel we expected but after initial surprise we found it to be comfortable and convenient for our purpose
Nice Area bed comfortable.
Overall good accomadation but a couple of staff were far too busy for the number of people, ie 15 minutes to check out, restaraunt fully booked when we arrived, bar person no idea where we sould park the car which is a major problem as you can only wait for two hours. Very exspensive ie £8 for a 250ml glass of Pinot which I think is ott. £5 for a bacon sarnie. All eating however was of a comparable price so take plent of money.
We were really inpressed with our room it was very clean, the bathroom was fantastic loved the shower. The hosts were very nice would go again hoping for a upgrade next time,
The White Star Tavern is in a great location for using as a base as everything is within walking distance. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast menu with food freshly prepared. Looking forward to staying here again.

Finding somewhere with a New Year's package was ideal, as 3 course dinner, bar tickets & breakfast were all included in the price
