The hotel was well situated and in a good location for visiting the historical sights in Sintra. Parking in Sintra is difficult between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. but the staff were helpful in making suggestions. (See abov.)

Cons:
Hotel Nova Sintra has a large terrace overlooking the Sintra Mountain Range and a romantic patio shaded by large trees. It features simply decorated rooms and free Wi-Fi. With mountain views, recently renovated rooms at Hotel Nova Sintra come equipped with a satellite TV. They are all uniquely furnished with decorative headboards and antique furniture. Guests can enjoy a breakfast on the patio or the terrace. Indoors, there is a small living room that functions as a restaurant and lobby area, serving traditional Portuguese dishes. The villa is half a kilometer from the historic center and 3 miles from the Pena Palace. With the hotel’s car rental service, guests can easily visit Lisbon, a 30-minute drive away.
