Reception staff were excellent, very welcoming and friendly and showed us around the hotel. Upon leaving the hotel we gave feedback on the slow breakfast and staff attitudes, again the reception staff, although a different lady from the previous day, was very professional, friendly and approach in dealing with the matter was excellent. I was not looking for a refund but an explanation and solution as we really wanted to come back but felt let down by breakfast, due to the receptionist you have not lost a customer who is keen to now stop at the hotel again.
Our cooked breakfast was a long wait at least 45 minutes and the food was not very hot. We did advise the member of staff who served our breakfast, as we was just debating whether to leave and give it a miss, who response was that she would take it back if we did not want it. We did give feedback to the hotel reception upon and they refunded us. There was not many people at breakfast, but we found out at reception the hotel was also serving breakfast in another room. A member of staff could do with customer service training. I suppose we could have filled up on cereal and continental breakfast that was available but we paid for the full English.
Room was comfy and also had a fridge in, which was good for keeping drinks cold. Staff on reception were also friendly and polite.
Only bad thing is my room, must’ve been a function suite and they were still moving things out past midnight and also in the morning could hear noise again from staff talking and moving things about.
Lack of hot water
Great hotel. Very well managed and very well situated.
There was a good choice for the breakfast. both continental & English restaurant was clean
The delivery and attention to detail could have been better, I had to return my full English as the egg was snotty, even thought I'd asked for it to be turned and it was crispy round the edges. The actual restaurant was very small and due to this very noisy and the were close together, you couldn't hear yourself think.
